Suddenly they upgraded to this new app that has a terrible user experience. It has me enter my zip code, choose a nearby laundromat, and go through a whole menu of options explaining how I want my laundry done. When I finally made it through the menu, it asks me at the very end to put my full address in and then says “sorry, we don’t service Queens” Meanwhile: 1. I’ve used their service in Queens for 10 years 2. The first thing the app asks you to do is enter your zip code, which is obviously in Queens, so why make me go through the whole ordering process just to deny my order at the end? 3. After entering my zip code in step 1, the laundromat I chose was literally in Queens. In my neighborhood. So what do you mean you don’t service Queens? I schedule laundry delivery because I have a disability and need my laundry picked up and delivered. Delivery.com made my life so much easier the last decade, and I can’t believe how unnecessarily difficult this change has been. ### 1/5 — Terrible App *2026-02-09, version 1.0.5* I used to order laundry service from the delivery.com app. The new delivery.com app (Order) requires you to download this app for laundry service. This app only provided me with 4 laundry services to choose from. The laundry service which I have been using, was not listed. I called my laundry service directly and I discovered that they have their own website. I quickly deleted this worthless app!!! ### 1/5 — ai slop *2026-02-09, version 1.0.4* ai slop ### 1/5 — Bad bad bad *2026-02-07, version 1.0.4* I don’t understand why they performed this terrible overhaul of the entire app. The payment system is shady and not certified now, and all of our points are gone. The app UI is glitchy and low fidelity. Was this a hack? ### 1/5 — I wanted to like the app but it’s terrible *2026-02-07, version 1.0.4* The older Delivery.com was a bit glitchy but usable. I thought having an app just for laundry services would be better, since it would be designed for one thing only. But it almost feels like a prototype or someone’s first app. The design is not great. It doesn’t have my history of laundry orders. Of course, it didn’t save any of my personal info. And I can’t find my regular laundry service. I’m just gonna have to text them a message and pay outside this new app. ### 1/5 — Scam! *2026-02-06, version 1.0.4* This is a scam. Do not download the app because the laundry mat will not receive your order and you’ll receive your refund in “1-5 business days”. Find a different service. Very disappointed and the customer service was terrible. Trying to find the number to call was a mission. If you decide to ignore this review and the others, you’ll need to download the other app to find the help line number to call. ### 1/5 — so bad *2026-02-06* This is a comically bad app that doesn’t even allow you to schedule dropoff and pickup anymore ### 1/5 — “Upgraded” to an app that’d be outdated in 2010. *2026-02-05* I’ve been using delivery for over 15 years, and just placed my last order. I’m SHOCKED at how abysmal this app is and my rewards points vanished. No ability to edit from the review screen, half the page is taken up by unnecessary UI- I can’t see what time they scheduled my pickup. You can’t even paste or autofill your CC! The old app was actually great. I’m a professional UX designer and don’t understand how they approved and spent money on this downgrade. I’ll probably stop using it after this first order, assuming it even goes through. ### 1/5 — No Laudromats in NYC *2026-02-04, version 1.0.3* The Chat Help is broken and does not connect. The app says there are no dry cleaners or wash & fold services in Manhattan. All previous orders have been deleted. No information was transferred to vendor. This is an absolute waste ### 1/5 — App is unusable *2026-02-03* This never should’ve been rolled out. I’m unable to use all my delivery.com credit I bought, there’s no way to choose the drop off time. It just says next day or today with no actual appointment like delivery.com had. When you go to chat with customer service an error message just pops up and there’s no phone number. This is horrid. ### 1/5 — Delivery.com Downgrade - DO NOT USE *2026-02-01, version 1.0.2* I’m not sure who green lit this but this is a serious downgrade to delivery.com. All of my rewards are gone, and the app looks like it was designed by a child. I also was charged and the laundromat said they didn’t get anything and they kept saying the new app doesn’t work. DO NOT USE THIS APP. ### 1/5 — The worst. Hard to use, and I lost all my credits/order history. *2026-02-01, version 1.0.2* I have used the Delivery app for laundry for years. It was so easy to use. ~3 screens to checkout, easy to add notes, etc. This “upgrade” is the worst, and the company gave ZERO warning that it was coming. Lost all my order history and the credits/rewards I had saved up. The UX is obnoxious and makes it hard to place a quick order. It takes a million screens, drop downs, pop up reminders and things just to get to order, it doesn’t allow you to select hypoallergenic soap (which I know my laundromat offers), only “standard”, and you can no longer view/select the pickup and drop off windows before ordering. Just have to order and cross your fingers that you’ll be home when they come? So stupid. I’m giving it a try only because I don’t want to punish my local laundromat for Delivery’s horrible app, but I’m probably going to switch because this sucks. Delivery is going to lose customers and hurt small businesses with this. ### 1/5 — Ugh *2026-02-01, version 1.0.2* Why in the world would you “upgrade” to this app that is hard to use and has terrible ux/ui…I honestly am probably going to find another laundry place to use solely based on this awful app. So aggravated. You’re going to hurt all your businesses by doing this. It’s not easy to use, you have to redo everything. And it looks completely sketch. ### 1/5 — Buggy, no option for own detergent *2026-01-31, version 1.0.2* New app is very buggy, and there’s no option to select that you’re sending along your own detergent to use and to leave notes about not using fabric softener. I know from experience this means it’ll be almost impossible to get your laundry washed the way you want it. Vibe coded, slop garbage. The company that bought out delivery.com’s laundry service has just ruined the greatest laundry pickup app with slop. It doesn’t need gradiented buttons and react icons… I just need to be able to order laundry!!!! You have over-engineered a UI while forgetting the entire purpose of your software! ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2026-05-22, version 1.1.1* I’m so sad that they changed delivery.com to this app because it doesn’t work you have to do all the calling around yourself. The Laundry never gets notified. They never send a confirmation saying they’re coming everything’s confused and then they keep calling to see if you got your laundry picked up that’s the only thing that works??? They don’t answer the chats in the app till the next day once. :( ### 1/5 — this app sucks. impossible to put in an order and keep track of it *2026-05-16, version 1.1.0* idk why delivery.com removed its laundry service to this flop of an app. they've lost me as a customer for good because this app's UX and UI are AWFUL. it's a wonder that it's even allowed on the app store with how non-functional it is. ### 1/5 — HUGE downgrade from Delivery.com *2026-03-23, version 1.0.8* I used Delivery.com for years and am really upset that they changed over to a terrible new system with no warning so I lost all my credits and can’t get the same services! The functionality that I most appreciated - the ability to schedule in advance and update laundry pickup and drop off time as needed - is horrible and won’t let me schedule more than 2 days in advance. And when I do, I can’t even see the date once it’s scheduled! No way to update the timing, no confirmation email with details, and my long-time laundromat says they have been receiving similar complaints from lots of long-time customers, including that LaundryMatch is overcharging for services! I hope my preferred laundromat will be able to process my orders directly from now on so I can avoid this terrible app. This new system is not worth the hassle! ### 1/5 — Horrible experience, huge downgrade *2026-03-17, version 1.0.8* This app is horrible. Placing an order only works sometimes, the laundromat I’ve used for 6 years has so many issues with the app which is why you don’t get real updates, and every time I’ve placed an order with this new app, the app customer support calls me to confirm if my order was picked up and dropped off instead of fixing the issues with their platform to get updates. As someone who builds mobile apps, this is a terrible experience for customers and businesses and never should have been released as a “new” app. ### 1/5 — Garbage *2026-03-14* The app and company have really gone done hill. Id recommend working directly with the merchants. The app is buggy and you cannot contact anyone through the app to resolve issues. You don’t get a breakdown of the cost and setting up the service is frustrating and you have more limited options than before. I found an email and was finally able to contact someone regarding an issue but it’s been weeks without any real response or resolution. Avoid! ### 1/5 — Soooo buggy *2026-03-12, version 1.0.7* App is terrible. Tried multiple times to order laundry and it’s not intuitive at all. The dates are confusing and you receive no confirmation on whether or not the business is confirming your order. “Next Day” delivery is confusing and ambiguous. There is also no way to cancel your order and it’s hard to see a full page of details of your order. Did AI put this together? It’s awful. ### 1/5 — Sketchy rebrand *2026-03-08, version 1.0.7* It seems delivery.com decided to just cut its established customer base for laundry orders off completely from the old account system and web browsers forcing you to use the phone apps. I can’t really figure out the reason why you’d introduce such a huge friction point to force users to reregister for a service they were already using. It makes me think this business is going under or something for them to be this adverse to customer retention. And there’s no Apple Pay in this, the credit card input looks like something out of 2005. The name, woof. ### 1/5 — Such a downgrade from Delivery.com app *2026-02-21, version 1.0.6* Have used delivery.com for years for my laundry. This UI of this app is atrocious. Hard to made edits, for some reason cannot select same day service any longer despite my laundromat offering it. They also sprung this change on businesses and they are just as unhappy as customers. So clunky and unnecessary. Quick pick up and delivery. Worth the price. Made me feel like I bought new clothes the way they were folded and packaged. They know what they doing by allowing you to choose the laundry at of your choice.
