It works via my iPhone, but unsure why not on my iPad. And nobody can explain it. I have deleted an re-downloaded the app multiple times. I usually end up using my phone and calling to make an appt. The app doesn't allow you to search by massage therapist either. Needs work !!! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Tragic waste of time ..... *2019-05-27* It sure would be nice to be able to just book a massage appt, have it confirmed for the correct time, etc., and go on with life. But, no! I cancelled my massage appt this week because of the consistent amount of confusion I get with this app. It schedules more than one appt...Every. Single. Time. Sick of the error problems, sick of the emails and texts indicating double bookings and incorrect times. Too bad the local franchises and massage therapists suffer the loss of business. There’s a sexy day spa down the street from the LaVida in my town. Guess where I’m going? They don’t even have an app...thank god. Just that much less frustration and b.s. to deal with. ### 1/5 — Can’t schedule waxing! *2018-07-04* The employees lose out on repeat customers and pay when there are two different apps: 1) in the massage app it shows that all waxing appointments are taken for the week when you click on waxing 2) you have to know that there is a different app for spa where waxing appointment are ### 1/5 — Cannot book an appointment *2017-10-26* The app works well but the font is so small it is very hard to read anything. Until the font size is increased this app will continue to get one star. The app also deserves a refresh to be a bit more user friendly. ### 1/5 — Poor, Poor, Poor *2017-07-27* There are not a lot of good things to say about this app. I can’t believe a professional development company put this together because I think a college drop-out could produce a better app. FIX THESE THINGS IMMEDIATELY!!! 1) Crashes: After an appointment is scheduled, the app crashes when you try to share the appointment and upload it to your calendar 2) Latency issues: It’s not a responsive app at all. I’ve used it on two different devices and there is always slowness when transitioning from one screen to the next 3) Pick up where you left off: Why is it than when I toggle to another app and come back to this one, it takes me to the home screen? Any decent app allows you to pick up where you left off, but not this one. 4) The UI is bland at best. This is not an exciting app and doesn’t promote your business well. Take this feedback to heart; I’m considering going back to Massage Envy—it costs more but they’ve made significant investments in their IT. ### 1/5 — Happy you made an app *2015-07-29* Crashes a lot… No ability to search for specific therapist and they're available that I can see ### 1/5 — Does not work *2015-04-23* App immediately closes and crashes as soon as I try to launch it. ### 1/5 — Slow *2015-01-31* Current version attempts to load multiple days in calendar view and takes too long to load. I love how the map can be integrated into my google maps app for directions. This app definitely goes to 11. ### 4/5 — Location Search Options *2019-05-14* There are two Lavida locations near me. If I try to search for an appointment at the location that is not my primary location, I have to delete the app and reinstall it to be able to search my primary location again. It’s very frustrating that I can’t toggle between locations. Other than that, I have been pleased with the app. ### 3/5 — Issue with Profile updates *2022-10-27* I have been using this App for quite sometime now, very easy and helpful. Recently they have made an update by making the “Referred by” field mandatory which doesn’t save in your profiles. This is blocking from making any appointments. Hopefully they correct it soon. ### 2/5 — State not listed *2016-03-05* Why is the state of Georgia not listed? I can't use the app if I can't even choose my state from the drop down menu. Set my first appt via phone two weeks ago, the day of my appt when i tried accessing the app, I suddenly received an error message saying invalid client after log in.
