All of a sudden the app starts shutting down every time I try to look at the doorbell camera. It’s gotten to the point the app won’t even open. Looks like this app hasn’t been updated in 4 years. Please update the app to make it usable again ### 3/5 — Ok, not great *2019-04-09* As with most of LaView’s apps this one is so, so. 1st; Setting up can be tricky if your using a newer iOS device. The cameras require a 2.4Ghz network to work and newer devices use the faster 5Ghz network if its available. And in iOS you can’t really choose that unless your Wi-Fi is setup with two separate network connections. I was forced to use an older iOS device running 9.3 in order for the app to even see my networks 2.4Ghz network. 2nd; iPad native screen support doesn’t work. So you have to run it in iPhone size. Silly IMO. Please fix this LaView developers. 3rd; this may be a camera firmware issue but whenever I review micro SD card recordings and the camera is recording simultaneously the camera freezes and reboots making the camera go offline. Very frustrating!!! Takes a good 30 seconds to a minute to boot back up. This bug NEEDS fixed ASAP!! That’s not saying much. The others were pretty awful. I’m using it with LV-N9608C8E and it is fairly easy to navigate. I don’t have the right cameras to take full advantage of the remote functionality. I am happy to finally see an easy way to export video using my mobile device. I have only used the app while sitting in my house thus far.
