## What is Lavora?

Lavora connects restaurants, cafes and venues with local hospitality workers who can pick up a shift today.

FOR VENUES
Post a shift in under a minute, see who applies, and confirm someone in a couple of taps. No agency contracts, no minimum spend, no phone tag.

• Post a shift with the role, hours and pay
• Review applicants with their skills, experience and ratings
• Confirm someone instantly — they're notified on their phone right away
• Message your worker before the shift
• Pay through the app; funds are held until the shift is done

FOR WORKERS
Pick up work that fits around your life. Browse shifts near you, apply in two taps, and get paid after the shift is complete.

• Get a notification the moment a shift is posted near you
• See the pay up front — no surprises
• Apply in seconds, no résumé needed
• Know instantly when a venue confirms you
• Message the venue about parking, entrances, what to wear
• Get paid to your bank after each completed shift

HOW PAYMENT WORKS
When a venue confirms a worker, the shift total is charged and held. Once the shift is marked complete, the worker is paid out minus Lavora's service fee. If a shift is cancelled, the venue is refunded. Payments are processed by Stripe — Lavora never sees your card or bank details.

RATINGS
After every completed shift, both sides rate each other. Venues see who's reliable; workers see who's worth working for.

Lavora currently operates in New Jersey and the New York metro area.
