I am disappointed in regards to the app that it’s not free they expect you to sign in and pay to be able to take full advantage of the app and to watch it live. I am really disappointed because i would have supported the app if it was free. I give you two stars for the effort but I am not impressed because not a lot of people are able to pay for this as money is tight right now for people and I’m included in this. I don’t mind if the app had ads to keep it free but I am not paying money to use the app. I would only change my review and give five stars if the app was free. ### 1/5 — No Navigation on Apple Devices *2022-10-19, version 25* Impossible to navigate on Apple iphone and Apple TV. Login is successful MAYBE 50% of the time. When I am logged in, I can’t access the premium content and instead just get stuck in this never-ending loop of “Sign-in”…”Get Access”… nothing works!!! Trying to watch the Depp trial and they never showed evidence that was published. I’d switch to another network and there it was. The app brings up no results searching for Depp even though the verdict isn’t in. I’ve created an account and signed in repeatedly and it just keeps asking me to sign in. No obvious was to follow a trial and get the supposed push notifications that are mentioned. What a mistake! It won’t log on AppleTV. Only live feed available. No videos. I contacted support and was told AppleTV app not up yet. These people charging money for something they know does not work. I did check out on my phone. Not much content. Several videos, nothing else. CourtTV is free and a way better app. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Deceptive misleading poor content *2026-05-30* I joined with through an offer for a “free trial” so that I could view content. Upon joining, I went in and canceled the trial so that I would not accidentally pay the $3.99 monthly fee. When I proceeded to cancel, I was presented an offer of $1.99 a month for 3 months. Finding this reasonable, I accepted and opted not to cancel. Today, I sign in and see that my “free trial” has been removed and I’ve now been charged $3.99. Now I go back to cancel because I find this practice to be highly deceptive and misleading. AND I CANNOT. Instead, I get an error message. Further, the extent of the content is misleading when customers are browsing to determine if a subscription is worth it. It’s not worth it. ### 1/5 — UNMANAGEABLE *2025-06-16, version 32* I just downloaded this worthless app and signed up for a subscription, thinking it might be required for it to work right, but still cannot do anything on it. Zero search results come up when searching “Karen Read trial”, even though there’s a courtroom feed on my YouTube. I give up! I thought I would be able to get live trials to watch, but that has not been the case at all. I cannot find any live trials. Whenever I try to go into my account, all I get is a message saying “verifying account.” It never says if my account is verified or not. Don’t waste your money on this, folks. Watch Court TV instead. Of course, they drag out the coverage and have a lot of ads, but at least you can see live trial coverage. ### 1/5 — No more live trials? *2024-04-01, version 31* I no longer can access ad-free/commentator-free live trials on this app. I am current on my annual subscription, so that’s not the issue. I have emailed their customer service 3 times to see if there is perhaps a new way to access live trials but have gotten no response. What is the point of paying for this channel (albeit just 19.99 annually) with no occasional ad free trials to watch? May as well just watch CourtTV which is free. ### 1/5 — Don’t Buy Law & Crime! *2023-12-25, version 29* App won’t allow you to create an account to sign in. They don’t respond to repeated requests for support.And the app now immediately crashes whenever it’s opened. It’s a joke! Only to find out that it hasn’t put out content since March 2022. It’s January 2023. The content that does exist is literally a handful of videos that are extremely low in quality and production. They don’t have old trials or complete trials, their live show is brief and college level production. It’s as if it’s been abandoned and they’re still tricking people, like myself, into thinking Law and Crime Daily would be you know up to date, even their specials are misleading and pretend to be a film and it’s just trial highlights. I have especially enjoyed Brian Ross Investigates. He is informative, and tackles issues that no one else has. Great to hear him. I hate the playback expired thing, that doesn’t happen on any other app. I also wish the Picture in Picture thing becomes available on that app. And I want it to go back to where I left off not start over. Also I have had no crashes as other reviewers have alluded to. And the live trial content is ad free and moderator free, so a joy to watch when you find a trial of interest. HOWEVER, in the past few months I have found no or only sporadic listings of live trials on the Live TV site on the app. What’s up with that? I nevertheless just renewed my membership, which I have mixed feelings about. I have heard nothing back from customer service either.
