An almanac is a book that tells you what to expect from the year. This one is about your grass. Tell Lawn Almanac where the lawn is and a few things about it, and it lays out the whole year — when to water, when to feed, what to watch for — then rewrites the week around the weather that actually arrives. Watering is worked out from evapotranspiration, not from a rule of thumb. If it rained, say so and the plan pushes back on its own. You get amounts in millimetres or litres for the size of your lawn, and a warning before drought, heat or frost does damage rather than after. Feeding is one schedule, not two. Slow-release granular feeds and foliar top-ups are planned together so they never land on top of each other, each with its own date and dose. Three advisors help without selling you anything. The weed advisor tells you what to apply and the window to apply it in. The pest advisor watches the season in your area and speaks up before the damage starts, biological options first. The product guide asks what you are trying to fix and points you at a type of product and an active ingredient — never a brand. New in this version: photograph a patch that is struggling and AI reads the picture, gives you the likely cause and what to do about it, with doses per square metre. The first analysis is free. It works anywhere — both hemispheres, cool- and warm-season grass, temperate, arid and tropical. Eleven languages. A morning reminder only on days that have a task. No account, and your location is kept rounded to about a kilometre. Weather data by Open-Meteo. Lawn Almanac is independent: it recommends product types and active ingredients, never brands. Before this, the only button there took you to Apple's subscription list, which says nothing if you don't have one yet. ### 1.4 — 2026-08-16 See your lawn plan first, decide later. • Today's plan and this week's watering are now free — open the app and use it. • The subscription screen now has a “Maybe later” button, so you are never stuck. • Fixed: if App Store prices failed to load, the app could get stuck on the subscription screen with nothing to tap. It now lets you straight in. ### 1.3 — 2026-08-08 Your subscription is now recognised automatically after reinstalling the app, so you no longer have to tap Restore. ### 1.2 — 2026-08-05 LawnPilot is now listed in 11 languages on the App Store, so you can find it and read about it in your own language.
