The app just sucks and you have to update it seems like every few days, it’s annoying! ### 3/5 — It works *2026-07-06, version 6.255.0* No edging done and a lot of weed eating not completed as described in the services. I could overlook the glitches, except for the fact that the services are terrible. I tried using these services for about a year, and finally had to give up out of pure frustration. I tried it for both my house and my dad’s house after he had his surgery, and my husband also used the app for about a week. The lawn people I’ve been matched with are totally unreliable. They will no-call no-show, or cancel at the last minute. And, guess who still has to pay fees for their grass being too tall after a week’s worth of cancellations? It’s absolutely ridiculous, and makes this whole process more of a headache than it’s worth. In theory, the product is great. But save yourself the headache and hire someone local instead. ### 2/5 — Subpar *2026-06-16, version 6.253.0* I’ve used this service off and on for about a year. The price is right a long the lines of regular landscaping company maintenance fees. But the quality is lacking. When they say front yard that means just the part they can mow. Nothing else. They won’t mow the other side of your driveway, they won’t maintain garden beds or pick up debris. They will barely edge. I had around 4 different lawn pros. None mowed a straight line between my neighbors lawn and my own. I paid for front and backyard, not a single one ever went into the backyard. If the garden beds needed maintenance, it was extra, if you need the debris picked up, it’s extra. Everything is extra. It’s so annoying, to pay for a front yard service and only get part of the yard done. Just give me a price to maintain everything on a regular basis. The only reason I used this service so long is because I’m antisocial and hate talking to people. My regular landscaper was wonderfully talented, reasonable and personable guy. But he always wanted to chat and it would drain the life out of me. So I went with this place and I regret it everyday. ### 2/5 — Constant updates *2026-06-11, version 6.249.0* The app requires constant updates, making response time inconvenient. It signs me out constantly, making it difficult to open the app. Service is great. I then canceled in the app. Got a txt this morning that my guy was otw. Told my landscaper that I had canceled it in the app already and not to service it. Instead, they just sent someone else out. When you try to reply to their emails, it’s a non-reply for automated messages. Now I’ve gone from pausing my service, to cancelling and letting others know to just get a local independent contractor. Support Local Biz Instead! ### 1/5 — TERRIBLE! A LIE!! *2026-05-24, version 6.248.0* The app seems like everything is fine then soon later you can’t cancel any services. Everything starts saying error and you can’t cancel any service. Honestly pisses me off. I can’t cancel online and I can’t cancel thru the app. This is a scam to grab your money because why does the whole thing have so many errors when I want to cancel??? Their so called pro delayed service by 5 days, vaped the whole time, missed a section, upcharged me for long grass which even Lawn Love support agreed wasn’t the case, and broke my sprinkler. What did Lawn Love do? Gave me a 20$ credit for my “next service”. I’m afraid of this company. ### 3/5 — Service in phenomenal *2026-05-15, version 6.243.0* I love what this app accomplishes but it fall short on greatness because the app is borderline unusable, every time I open the app it says it needs an update (even after uninstalling and reinstalling) now when the app does on occasion work it’s a smooth experience but if you’re trying to skip or cancel a service and you just can’t for that week it gets very irritating. ### 1/5 — App requires update. They pushed my services to 2 days later ok fine it was the weekend anyway. Then the guy msgs me through the app saying he’s pushing it another day due to weather but it was super sunny and most my neighbors were outside cutting their grass. So the next day come I msg around 2pm because this guy still hasn’t shown up. I get no response so I head to the customer service agent and they said I have to give him till the end of the day. Well 9pm comes around and the guy switched me for the NEXT day and didn’t even msg me back. I had to wait till the morning to talk to anyone from this app and get it cancelled that way with no charge because if you try to cancel a service they will charge you $15-25 if it’s too close. They eventually closed my account and didn’t charge me but I had to reply 3x to them that I’m not wasting another day waiting for them to show and I’m not waiting for another “pro” because they have 48 hours to schedule. Better off finding an actual company than using this app. ### 1/5 — Horrible *2026-08-11, version 6.264.0* I’ve spent more time in chat boxes with unhelpful reps than I have getting my lawn cared for. When I went to get reimbursed because they never reimbursed in the first place they said it has to be within five days and “they’re so sorry but it doesn’t fit within their 5 day policy for refunds” and they “understand it must be frustrating to provide proof and not get reimbursed” they literally know they charged me without providing the service with proof and still wouldn’t refund me. ### 1/5 — Service is a disaster *2026-07-04, version 6.255.0* Good concept but their pros are terrible. We had one good one who quit for no stated reason. After that we had ones show up when not scheduled, not show up when they were scheduled, do a half-hearted job and then quit, or quit before even coming to our house. One bailed by saying we needed a $400 clean-up before he could mow; even customer service said the photo he sent as proof didn’t show the need for extra service. I’ve talked to them several times and they just will not pay me for the only job I did for them. They did give me a discount for the first cut. It was not in my initial invoice. You have to go to billing history to see the most accurate fees, including the discount. So, I was wrong and rushed to judgment. Overall, the service is good. They find you a provider quickly and get your schedule right away.
