My q&a section just displays ‘no data’ when I select it

Good: I can generally find what I need pretty easily out at the fields.

Needs improvement: When studying up at home at the beginning of the new season it’d be nice if the app were designed for both iPad and iPhone.  As it stands I prefer to use the PDF for this.

Amazing learning tool, it will sound like a Christmas wishlist but:  1. please add a daily random pop up Q&A, that would be amazing to test out knowledge. 
2. Also possibly add the audio files that are already available on website option.

I love this app, simple and easy to navigate. I would like to add a user suggestion as a developing referee. I believe that there might be two ways to improve this app as a learning tool. Perhaps giving video examples of some of the laws, specially the offside and  fouls and misconduct. I know that doing that might require time and money to get done. So the second best option would be to add a quiz of the Q & A to practice knowledge and understanding of the laws.

I am trying to get the app to work. It downloads but after language it gives me an error 
That I need to connect to internet but all my apps work and I have done all the on off WiFi, shut down, on off cellular and it still won’t work

### 3/5 — Quirky Search features

Very handy app. 

My only complaint is that the search feature is quirky. When I type a word in the search box and select "done" often the screen is just blank. It is unclear if it is actively searching or it there were no results found. Then when I tap on the search box again to maybe go search for another word, oddly the results I was waiting for then appears. 

Or say it actually does say "no results found" from a prior search, it will hold on to that when I then search for a word I know is in there. It will keep saying "no results found" until I redo the new search several times over and over  and it will finally yield results.

App is good, however it would be great if there was a search feature within the Q&A section.

The interface looks nice, but it is the only positive thing to the app. I don’t know why internet access is required to read the laws of the game if I have already downloaded them. Some leagues still use the 2018/19 laws which are NOT available for the app. There are unnecessary too many steps to open a law in the app; whole text of a single law should be accessible with a tap. Swiping should be used to switch between articles/laws, otherwise it is too tedious. Also, search option should be included in the app.

Update: now I can see most of features added, I would add a star or two for sure. But one thing I found annoying is that there is no ‘read from where I last stopped’ option. Rather, the app makes you to click on ‘Read All’ which takes you to the list of contents, and then when ‘close’ button is clicked you can resume reading.

This is a great tool, it would be amazing if they developed it to be viewed horizontally on iPad. As an improvement to the learning experience it would benefit us all if there was a randomized daily Q&A quiz in which they leave out the answer kinda like quizlet.

Having this readily available is great for my rec league coaches to show them why I make the calls I do. My only complaint is that the menu that lets me actually select the laws takes too much effort. This is the book of laws and should be the first thing you have access to. Right now you have to select read all at the question and then select the menu from the bottom corner. Other than that I make sure all my refs have this available.

**Developer response:** The Brazilian Portuguese translation of the Laws of the Game 2025/26 has been recently published in the app. In order to change the language, please click more (...) in the bottom right corner of the home screen, go to 'Settings', click 'App language', and then download the Brazilian Portuguese version. If you do not see the new Laws in your language, you should change the edition to 2025/26 first. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to earn a higher rating. We are two months into the new season, an international break and even 3 months into the new laws being in place. 

Did no one thought about updating this app in this time? It’s not hard to edit.

Удалось с «бубнами» запустить Правила.
Если сменить регион, да и язык вдобавок, то правила возможно скачать, но не на Родном языке.
В приложении четыре изданий правил (23/24, 22/23, 21/22 и 20/21) и только 21/22 на русском языке. Т.е. скачиваете после смены региона правила, далее в настройках приложения меняете издание на 21/22 и далее там же добавляете русский язык.  В других изданиях родного нет на 2023.07.06.

Помогите! Не работает приложение, при загрузки пишет что отсутствует доступ в интернет, хотя и включал сеть и WiFi 
Может как-то обновить можно? Очень нужны правила именно в приложении

Скачал, зашёл в приложение, и оно пишет что необходимо включить соединение с интернетом. После перезагрузки телефона проблема сохранилась. Что делать?

Once the language version is downloaded (at least one), you can use the app and read the Laws of the Game on your mobile device without internet access. This needs to work like a book that you can search. I hate the present format.

This year we have changed the home screen of the app. The newest version allows quick and easy access to: 
1) the full edition of the Laws of the Game (where you can see the menu and select the specific chapter); 
2) Law changes (each refers you to specific Law sections, the amended text and additional explanations); 
3) Questions & Answers (which you can filter by Law 1-17).

If you need to look something up in the Laws of the Game, you can use the search function (available online).

Glad to see the laws of the game digitized. The physical book was great while it lasted all those decades ago, but this is so much better. Much easier to search and the question and answer section could be a book all on its own. Might need a better organizational method on the Q&A, but the laws are organized as they always have been, which is great. Really appreciate the standardization.

The recent addition of the “save” and “show answer” buttons for the Q&As are very appreciated! I will literally open this app at halftime or after the match to educate a player/coach/referee, and being able to quickly find the Q&As I need most often will be a great help. Keep up the amazing work!

It would be nice if the search feature would
1. highlight the searched-term;
2. and when the user selects the back arrow, it returned back to the original completed searches so the user can continue. 
3. Consideration whether the search "magnifying glass" on the page for EACH individual law would act as a ctrl'f for the page, rather than a universal church from the home page or table of contents.  
3b. If 3a 'works', then the next time the 'magnifying glass' is selected, the previous term searched remains as default (so the user can continue searching for the tram through sections of the individual law).

Curious how long it takes to upload new updates to the law. For example, when will 2023/24 be updated.

I wish I'd known about this before.  Super helpful for watching TV and understanding unusual calls.  I also like the Weekly Q&A feature.

Update has solved all the problems previous. Very happy that I can choose between 2019/20 and 2020/21 laws. I live in Canada and we are still using 2019/20 laws. Great app. Thanks

Just updated to the latest version (2.0.0) and it crashes immediately after I tap the app icon, every time I try to open the app.

Earlier versions were great though, and given there’s not a lot of live soccer happening right now the timing for this issue is about as good as a bug of this seriousness can be.
