## What is LAXProtocol?

Most lacrosse injuries never involve contact. The ACL, the hamstring, the shooter's shoulder — they go on a cut, on a dodge, on a cold first step. LAXProtocol is the warm-up, speed and strength work that guards against them, filmed rep by rep with Cape Concierge PT, a Cape Cod physical-therapy practice.

Seventy-six drills across seven sections. Not a video library to scroll — a structure a coach can actually run: what to do before practice, what builds the armour, and what you owe your body afterwards.

NO ACCOUNT, NO SETUP
There is no sign-in, no password and no roster. Download it and nineteen drills are simply there, including the prehab core and three printable handouts — nothing to set up before a practice you are already late for.

LAXPROTOCOL PRO — ONE-TIME PURCHASE
Pro unlocks the rest of the library: the speed and agility ladder, the full strength block, stickwork and dodging, and the whole recovery section. It is a single purchase on your Apple Account, not a subscription — buy it once, restore it on your other devices. What sits in the free tier is a coaching decision and may be adjusted as the programme develops.

CUES, IN WRITING
Every drill lists what to actually say — "stay tall, don't lean back", "lead with the hips". Coaching a movement you haven't run before shouldn't depend on a video loading on a field with one bar of signal.

SEE WHAT YOU ARE GETTING
Every filmed drill shows a real frame from its own footage — including the locked Pro drills. The library is not a mystery box: you can see exactly what is behind the paywall before paying anything.

SIDELINE TOOLS
• Sweat rate — weigh in, weigh out, get a real fluid target instead of a guess
• Hop symmetry — a single-leg hop screen with left/right difference worked out for you
• Workload — acute-to-chronic ratio, so a spike in a training week is visible before it costs you a player
• Heat check — heat-index guidance against the usual practice bands
• Wall ball — a timed routine that runs itself

These are screening tools for a coach, not a diagnosis, and the app says so where you use them. Anything that hurts goes to a clinician.

HANDOUTS FOR PARENTS AND PLAYERS
Clean one-pagers you can text to a parent or print for the locker room. No app required on their end.

BUILT TO BE READABLE ON A FIELD
Type scales with the accessibility text size you already set, the whole app is labelled for VoiceOver, and it follows your light or dark preference. Six color themes — from chalkboard green to high-vis volt — each with a full light and dark side, so the app reads well wherever you coach. Tested with an accessibility harness, not asserted.

PRIVACY, PLAIN-LANGUAGE
• No account, so nothing to sign up with and nothing to delete
• No advertising, no analytics, no tracking SDKs of any kind
• No health records and no medical data — the sideline tools work out a number on your device and keep nothing
• Nothing is sold or shared, because nothing is collected

The programme — the drills, the progression, the coaching — is built with Cape Concierge PT. The app is published and supported by Tatzel Labs LLC. Questions? Email support@tatzel-labs.com.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.0.2 — 2026-08-26

Two fixes, both of them things you could see.

Mirroring the app to an Apple TV went black after the splash screen — the picture was gone and the phone kept behaving as though everything was fine. It mirrors properly now.

Three of the five handouts were locked and opened as blank pages, instead of saying they are part of Pro. They now say so.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-08-23

Six color themes. The app's own deep-water Tide is joined by Arena, Turf, Chalkboard, High-vis and Ice — each with a full light and dark side, so the app reads well in a gym, on a bright field or in a film room. Settings > Appearance.

Browse got faster to run: each sport opens as a hub of section doors, and every filmed drill now shows a real frame from its footage — including the Pro drills, so you can see exactly what the library holds before paying anything.

Plus sharper section art and small fixes throughout.

### 1.0.0 — 2026-08-22

No release notes.
