## What is Lazro Fit?

Log a set in one tap, run a route from your front door, and keep every workout you've ever done. Lazro Fit is free — all of it. No subscription, no ads, no upgrade screen.

Logging needs no signal, and nothing needs an account. Your training lives on your phone, with a backup in your own iCloud to save your progress.

WORKING OUT
Logging a set is one tap. The app fills in what you did last time, so beating it is one tap too. The rest timer starts on its own and keeps going with your phone in your pocket.
• Supersets, warm-up sets, drop sets, sets to failure
• A warm-up ramp to your working weight
• A plate calculator that shows what to put on the bar, using each gym's own bar and plates
• RPE if you want it. It's off by default.
• Notes on an exercise that show up the next time you do it
• Pause the workout when the gym gets busy
• If the app gets closed mid-workout, nothing is lost. It saves after every set.

ROUTINES
Make as many routines as you want and start one in two taps. Five simple ones come with the app. Every routine also runs as a program:
• Hit your reps and it adds weight next time
• Stall three sessions in a row and it lowers the weight
• It tells you why every time it changes something
• Pick your training days, turn on reminders, and it tells you when one is due

CARDIO
Tell it how far you want to go and it draws a real route from where you're standing — a loop, or an out-and-back. Or just hit start. Your splits arrive as notifications, on your Apple Watch too if you wear one. The run stays on your Lock Screen with Pause and Finish right there (iOS 17 and later), and records without signal. Walks and jogs are tracked the same way. Taking the dog? Turn on the pet companion and four big buttons count pees, poops, throw ups, and every stranger who stops to pet them, with an undo for each. The counts show on your Lock Screen as you go, and you can put them on the card when you share the walk. They come out in the CSV with the time of every throw up, which is the first thing a vet asks.

PROGRESS
• A muscle map of what you've trained
• Your records for every lift and every run
• A calendar of your training days, and your streak
• Estimated 1RM over time
• Body measurements and progress photos
• Your full history. There's no limit.
• Over 400 exercises have an animation, so you can see how they're done
• And Lazro in 3D. He howls when you finish a workout.

ALSO
• Apple Health, both ways: weight from your scale, runs from your watch, and your workouts saved to Health
• Export everything to CSV or a backup file whenever you want
• Import your history from another app
• Light mode, dark mode, or match your phone
• No account, ever

The app also weighs your lifts in Lazros. Lazro weighs seventy pounds. It helps.

This app is dedicated to my best friend Lazro, the husky it's named after.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.6 — 2026-09-28

Your own bar and plates, for every gym.

• Tell the app what each gym has: the bar, and how many of each plate. The plate calculator and warm-up sets use exactly those plates.
• When a routine adds weight to a barbell lift, it picks a load your plates make, when they're in the units you lift in. If that's too big a jump, it holds the weight and tells you why.
• A run or walk whose map didn't load when you finished now gets it the next time you open it, along with the route card to share.
• What the app reads from Apple Health now stays in Apple Health and on your phone, unless you export or share it, and is no longer part of the Lazro Fit iCloud backup. Health readings can't be edited here any more, and body fat from Health now shows up.
• A link to the privacy policy, under Data & privacy.

### 1.0.5 — 2026-09-25

This one's mostly about me.

• Strangers stop to pet me. Constantly. Nobody was counting. There's a fourth button on a dog walk now, Got petted. Tap it every time somebody can't help themselves.
• Pause and Finish are on your Lock Screen now, and in the Dynamic Island. No unlocking your phone with a lead in one hand and a bag in the other. Finish still opens the app and asks first, so a pocket can't end your walk. (The buttons need iOS 17 or later.)
• My numbers are on the Lock Screen too. Pees, poops, throw ups and pets, as they happen.
• When you share a walk, you can put my numbers on the card. Or leave them off. You see the cards side by side and pick.
• On a run, the time and pace boxes used to stop two thirds of the way across the screen. They fill the row now.

Right. Somebody's coming over. Look casual.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-09-18

Small round. Mostly I had a wash.

• I am sharper. The app had been drawing me at two thirds of the resolution your screen actually has, on every card I turn up on, and then stretching it. Fur, whiskers, the lot.
• Searching your own history looked broken. The box stopped halfway across the screen with a stray x floating in it, because it had been given a name no styling answered to. It is a proper search field now.
• Two supersets in one workout both just said SUPERSET, with nothing anywhere saying which went with which. They are A and B now. One superset on its own still just says SUPERSET, because a letter that distinguishes nothing is noise.
• A thin red line used to appear between two rows in your history, never the same two. That was the delete button hiding behind a row, showing through by a fraction of a pixel. It is not drawn at all now until you swipe.
• And if you use VoiceOver, it was reading out a Delete button after every single session in your history. Forty-seven of them. It is quiet now.

Right, back to the gym bag.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-09-17

A new trick this round, and it is about me.

• Taking the dog out? Turn on the pet companion before a walk or a run and you get three targets big enough for a thumb that is also holding a lead: pees, poops, throw ups. Tap them as they happen. Undo each one if you miscount, because you will.
• Runs export to a spreadsheet now, the way workouts always have. Distance, pace, splits — and if you walked me, every tally, with the time of each throw up on its own. That last one is what a vet asks for first.
• Your streak sits on the Workout and Cardio screens whether or not you have one. It used to disappear at zero, which is the week you most want to see it.
• Profile told you the app was version 0.1.0. It has said that since the very first release. It says the real number now.

Right, back to the gym bag.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-09-11

No new tricks this round. I spent it cleaning up.

• The app opens faster. It used to wait on iCloud and on a location check before drawing anything, then read your data off the disk one piece at a time instead of all at once. Your photos and measurements now load after the first screen rather than before it.
• A weight or a rep count appears the moment you tap it. It used to wait for the save, then redraw the whole workout to change four characters. It is still written to disk on every change.
• An hour into a run, every GPS point made the app redo an hour of arithmetic and rewrite the whole run to disk. It doesn't now.
• "Delete all data" could destroy the iCloud copy it promised to keep. It left things behind, so the app never offered you the restore, then wrote over the copy anyway. It clears everything now, and it leaves iCloud alone until you've answered. If a restore gets interrupted, the app knows at the next start and offers again.
• Switching between lb and kg no longer starts your next workout with the old unit's numbers. A 100 kg set comes back as 220 lb.
• Runs and weigh-ins you imported from Apple Health and then deleted stay deleted. They used to come back on the next sync.
• A run that loses location now says so, pauses, and tells you whether to turn location back on or just finish. It used to show a ticking clock over a distance that had stopped moving. A run you resumed without GPS had no Finish button at all.
• Mile splits stopped counting the ground and the time you covered while paused. The walk to the car doesn't go in your mile anymore. Nothing counts while we're standing still. I know. I've tried.
• Mile splits and rest timer alerts weren't reaching most people. The app had never asked iOS for permission to send them. It asks now, when you start a run or a workout.
• The interval timer tells you about each round with the screen off. It used to go quiet the moment the phone locked, and its Pause and End buttons rebuilt themselves under your thumb while it ran.
• Adding exercises: tap + on as many as you want, and one button adds them all, in the order you tapped. Each one used to cost a whole trip back through the picker, with your search and filters cleared on the way in.
• Every switch in Profile has a name a screen reader can say. That screen used to read out as "switch, on. switch, off."
• Plainer words all over the app, and no more "pounds" for people who log in kilos.
• Smaller ones: a double-tapped Finish no longer erases the summary it just made — Finish lands once. A session you delete in "See all" leaves the list. Weekend trainers lost a streak every spring and November printed one day twice, and both are fixed. "Show me a different one" hands back routes it already found instead of asking Apple again.

Right, back to my nap on your gym bag.
