### 3/5 — Great, but flawed. I would give it a 3.5

*2022-01-02*

I love this app. The ability to add notes to a habit helps me feel very organized. I also like the different colors that can be assigned to each habit.

The notifications work well and the reminders get me off the couch and doing whatever I need to do. Assigning specific times for each habit is great too.

There are some downsides though. Managing habits in the setting menu seems excessive. Being able to manage habits within the habit would be simpler. This isn’t a huge deal, but it can be confusing if you forget where this setting is.

My biggest issue is syncing between devices. My iPhone never syncs with my iPad. I frequently switch between the two devices and even though it says iCloud sync is enabled, it doesn’t sync. I receive notifications for things that I have completed, and it becomes egregious for repeating habits. I’m aware that this issue is being worked on, but it is currently an issue.

Also, if you don’t have the Apple’s “Mail” app you can’t access help and support or the bug reporting options. To send an email about the syncing issue I had to download Mail, and then create an iCloud email to contact support. Super annoying.

Other than those downsides, the app is pretty great if you plan to only use one device.

### 3/5 — Amazing phone app but disappointing watch app

*2021-09-29, version 10.4*

Absolutely love the phone version, simple interface and lovely way to colour code and add symbols to habits. Something about it just makes me want to use it and actually check off habits. However I wanted to start using it on my Apple Watch instead and discovered the watch app is really glitchy- doesn’t sync well with phone app and sometimes habits don’t show up at all! Sadly had to switch to another habit app- please fix watch version!

### 2/5 — Don’t like the new changes

*2021-07-14, version 10.4*

This app much better a year or two ago… much simpler and I liked the interaction with completing a task way more before. I don’t think I’ll keep using anymore. It’s not the same.

### 3/5 — Lazy Bones...

*2021-04-16, version 10.2*

there is way to much things that you cant have unless you have premium and some people might really like the ideas that this app brings but then they realise: you cant make your own habits, you can only have 3 habits, no app icon, and only six presets to choose from, plus a lot more. So please “Lazy Bones” make some things change like without premium you can have unlimited habits because some people dont want to pay!!!!

### 4/5 — Really enjoy the app! Please make the timeframe editable!

*2021-04-06, version 10.1*

As a night owl, I really want the flexibility to edit the timeframe of Morning Afternoon and Evening to make the checklist fit into my body clock better. For example, a typical morning for me is 8-13, a typical evening for me is 19-2.

### 3/5 — Probably great if you pay for the subscription

*2021-01-30*

The design is nice and seems like it would be useful, but without paying for the subscription you can only have 3 habits. I’m not looking to pay for something that I can just set reminders for on my phone. I thought it would make it easier by having it all in one place, but it’s not worth the money for me I’ll just use the reminders that already come with my phone.

**Developer response:** Hello user!

Thanks for the review!

Lazy Bones is completely free for up to 3 habits, after which we offer extremely competitively priced packages that unlock everything!

### 2/5 — It’s a great app but cost keeps climbing.

*2021-01-15, version 9.4*

Last year this app was $10 for the year which I signed up for. To get a notification that tells me my subscription has been discontinued and Now it’s had a nearly $20/year increase? For what? I change of colour scheme and the ability to add more than a couple of habits? As much as I love the app I don’t think it’s worth that.

### 3/5 — From a beginner letdown😞

*2021-01-13*

This app is great over all awesome but What dose bug me is only a certain amount of emojis are available to us unless we buy the pack or something which is how I know you make money but I suggest coming up with your own emojis or “ doodles “ and also a lot of the other options like reminders, colors, or app icons are also apart of your pack.🥺

**Developer response:** Hey user,

Thanks for the review!

All emoji’s can be used for free by creating your own habit!

### 4/5 — If this was a free app, it’d be exactly what you’re looking for

*2020-12-30*

I ended up paying $10 for this app, but if I could have tried it first I would not have purchased. The UI is ok, I wish the Stats page was actually helpful though, you just see that you completed some habits every day. Can y’all add all Notes to the Habit Stats page? I feel like note taking is a waste of time on the app because it’s so hard to navigate to

### 4/5 — Good UI

*2020-11-23, version 9.3*

Enjoying it so far, but it needs to integrate with Reminders to be a viable long term tool in my app suite.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — You have to pay

*2024-06-30, version 12.0.3*

Meh, basically everything is behind a paywall. you can’t really do anything in the free version of this app. You can do a free trial of the premium version, but then it’s a subscription

### 1/5 — $$

*2024-06-15, version 12.0.3*

Just an overpriced notes app basically. (Try continuo)

### 1/5 — No Basic Version Avalible

*2024-03-20, version 11.4*

App cannot be used without paying for a subscription, not mentioned in description...

### 1/5 — Doesn’t sync with Apple TV

*2023-01-03, version 12.0*

The only reason I purchased a premium subscription was that it said icloud sync would enable it to sync to the apple tv. This did not work and now I can’t cancel the subscription.

### 1/5 — No refund!

*2022-12-15, version 12.0*

This app makes you pay to use it(no problem), but don’t refund your money after you figure out it’s inferior to apple’s reminder app. You’ve been warned!

Have nice day.

### 1/5 — Paid for subscription twice

*2021-11-30, version 11.2*

I paid for one year and it never registered in the app. I emailed them and they never replied so I paid $40 for nothing.

### 1/5 — Don’t Pay For A Subscription

*2021-03-23*

I paid for the yearly subscription and really enjoyed this app for awhile. My husband and I both contracted Covid, which interrupted our daily lives for a few weeks and I didn’t use the app regularly as my daily schedule and routine was completely disrupted.
It’s been roughly a month, but now that I have my normal life back, I have tried using it and it tells me to renew. I am subscribed until January 2022, so I am not paying for another annual subscription only 2 months into my current one. Buyer beware!

**Developer response:** Hey user,

Thanks for the review! Apologies for the issue you’re experiencing.

If you have an active subscription, when asked to renew again simply tap “Restore subscription” at the bottom left of the purchase page.

### 1/5 — LOST POTENTIAL!

*2021-03-06, version 10.1*

I’m paying a monthly subscription for this app and there are DOZENS of bugs that make it unpleasant to use. It really is a shame, because this app has so much potential to be great...

### 1/5 — Can’t disable auto pay!!!!

*2020-12-03, version 9.3*

Terrible app

### 1/5 — Used third party to track you And identify you

*2020-12-01, version 9.3*

Slightly nicer looking calendar that tracks you and will sell info on you. Also uses third party trackers to identify you and track you. Just use calendar notifications.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Cool

*2024-06-02, version 12.0.3*

Cool

### 5/5 — Useful but not groundbreaking

*2023-11-01*

It’s a lot like Productive - Habit Tracker (by Apalon Apps), but with more colors / icons and less functions (like frequency of items). I like it and paid for a subscription, because it could be great for specializing certain routines (using different apps for different priorities). I like the design, but I didn’t find the suggested habits to be useful. And, I had trouble at first finding the button to create your own habit. I scanned through all of them, but didn’t use any of the templates. I downloaded the app on my iPad, too, and while the subscription restored successfully, and the initial sync worked smoothly, it seems like you need to continue manually syncing thereafter. So, I’ll probably only be using it on one device. I looked to contact customer service about this, but couldn’t find any link, other than to the developer’s LinkedIn. I feel like for a paid app or subscription, no matter how little, they should offer some kind of support.

Oh, hi! I just saw this years later, and I still use this app. I kept it because it is one of my favorites. I see support now in settings, so I’m upgrading my rating to 5. I do really like the aesthetics.

**Developer response:** Hello user!

### 5/5 — Love, but please add something!

*2023-04-16*

Love this app. I love that I can do things in Shortcuts with it too, and I love even more that I can check off a task using Shortcuts and an NFC tag. One thing I would add is the ability to make things every # of weeks (like taking my recycling to the curb, which is every other week.) It messes with my habit count.

**Developer response:** Hey user,

### 5/5 — Thank you for helping me achieve my dream life

*2023-03-28, version 12.0*

Thank you Lazybones! I am on track in all areas of my life thanks to your amazing app! I like to make sure that I can tick these boxes every day! In my mind they are like light bulbs that I need to turn on every day and I want to see them all illuminated by the end of the year.

### 5/5 — Good, but

*2022-09-13, version 12.0*

I prefer light mode of this app but there is no way to turn it on for the app if the system mode is dark. Please add this option.

### 5/5 — Perfect

*2022-01-12, version 11.4*

Love it. I’ve tried every single routine app out there and finally this one checks all the boxes. Thank you so much!

### 5/5 — LOVE THE NEW UPDATE

*2021-11-22, version 11.0*

Been using this for a year and love it. I especially love the new update.

### 5/5 — I paid for a year subscription and it let me use it a month and it won’t let me use it.

*2021-02-20*

I’ve contacted costumer support so many times for help with no response so now imma leave this review.
I really liked it the first month. I thought I was keeping good track of my habits and then I stopped using it for about half a week due to motherly duties. I just didn’t have time to be on my phone. And when I tried using the app again it wouldn’t let me do anything unless I renew my subscription and I will not because I already paid for a year and only got a month out of it. I’ve asked for a refund, I’ve even asked for them to just help me and get me back into the app. No response.
✨✨Don’t put your money into something that’s just gonna rip you off✨✨

Update: I was finally helped after leaving this review🥺 I feel bad. But thank you. That was really my only problem with this app. Other than that I think it is wonderful.

### 5/5 — It helps me stay motivated.

*2021-02-18, version 10.0*

During Covid I need help staying motivated. This app is perfect. The price is worth it.

### 5/5 — Really helpful

*2020-12-17, version 9.3*

I am an unorganized person and bad with my time and the way this app is really helps me out and I really like how the app is layed out they put a lot of time into the making of it.
