## What is LazyScore?

Most fitness apps ask for more: more steps, more goals, more optimization. LazyScore turns the direction around.

Three rings begin full each morning. Movement drains them. Your HealthKit data becomes a satirical daily score of up to 1,000—not a health assessment, but an absurd second reading of familiar metrics.

WHAT LAZYSCORE 2.0 DOES:
• Reverse rings for Rest, Spare and Sink
• A daily score and editorial verdicts with dry humor
• Achievements for staying put and anti-achievements for accidental ambition
• Insights and trends for your personal history of doing nothing
• Apple Watch app and widgets for a quick glance
• HealthKit data processed directly on your device
• No cloud, no ads, no tracking

Even nature is more complicated than its reputation: wild three-toed sloths averaged 9.63 hours of sleep per day in one EEG study. LazyScore draws no sleep recommendation from that. Just a punchline.

Koalas sleep 18 to 22 hours a day according to San Diego Zoo; lions rest for up to 20 hours according to Smithsonian. Those are animal facts, not human targets.

Nothing achieved today. Target exceeded.

LazyScore is satirical entertainment. It is not a fitness, meditation, sleep or therapy service, offers no medical advice, and does not assess your health.

Nature comparison sources: Rattenborg et al., Biology Letters (2008), DOI 10.1098/rsbl.2008.0203; San Diego Zoo, “Koala”; Smithsonian’s National Zoo, “Lion Cam.”

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.1 — 2026-08-26

New: a companion. A sloth. It watches along and has short opinions — unsolicited, no advice. And the app switches tabs without first pausing to think. That’s all I’m saying. Nothing achieved today. Target exceeded.

### 2.0.1 — 2026-07-14

Clearer comparisons in your daily breakdown: every line now has an info button with a traffic light — green for sourced facts, yellow for rough estimates from the LazyScore Estimation Service, gray for pure punchlines. Tap for source, context, or methodology. No more fake links — just more honest satire.

### 2.0 — 2026-07-13

LazyScore 2.0 turns fitness logic around more clearly: three rings start full, and movement drains them. It also brings new editorial copy, insights, and a consistent experience across iPhone and Apple Watch. Your HealthKit data is processed on device. Nothing achieved. Target exceeded.

### 1.5.1 — 2026-06-27

So apparently some achievement hints on Apple Watch were just… broken. Not mysterious. Not poetic. Just raw code, like someone forgot to finish the sentence.

We fixed the missing hints, added a backup when one goes missing, and shortened a few lines so they actually fit on a wrist - a radical concept in wearable technology.

Bottom line: The clues work now. Your horizontal lifestyle remains fully supported.

### 1.5.0 — 2026-06-24

Less chrome. More couch. The app finally matches the lifestyle.

Look, we cleaned up Side Remarks — because apparently resting still needs footnotes, a character sheet, and something called a Field Report card you can send to friends. (Who are these friends? We don’t judge.)

We added little info buttons for the jargon, moved the footnotes to the end like a real overreaction, and made the share cards look like they belong on a phone — not a fax machine from 1987.

Oh, and we removed those floating titles at the top of every screen. You already have a tab bar. We’re not gonna label the room you’re standing in.
