But I would really like the option to keep Breaking News notifications while turning off notifications about shows… like ‘whatever politician is currently appearing on air’. Interviews with politicians are a pretty big turn-off for me. Overwhelming layout *2026-01-15, version 164.0* The adverts are very repetitive and really annoying to hear the same ad over and over and over again. Geolocation doesn’t always work, so I get ‘personalised’ ads aimed at a completely different part of the country. Luckily we can skip forward 30s to get past the awful repetitive adverts. They are like torture. It is possible to filter news topics, but it’s still very overwhelming. I thought this would be easier to listen to LBC than the Global Player app, but there are many steps to find catch-up and then you have to scroll through all the other stations to get to LBC. Catch-up fails to resume if you pause it too long. ### 3/5 — O’Bore’s ego is too much *2026-01-13, version 164.0* The guy is absolutely obsessed with the same topics all the time, every day. Brexit, Trump, Reform, Tories. Surely a presenter that appeals to the other half of the population and not just left wingers would be more appropriate. ### 5/5 — Good *2026-01-12, version 164.0* Good ### 5/5 — LBC First Class Radio - Intelligent Presenters and Interesting Topics Every Day *2026-01-10* We live in Canada and listen to LBC and Canadian CBC Radio every day whether at home or travelling. In my opinion these are the two best radio organizations in the World. LBC radio always covers a broad range of topics and the programs and presenters create engaging dialogue with guests and public call-ins. The LBC app is fantastic and the ‘catch up’ feature is wonderful especially for listeners in different time zones. You clearly are only interested in pushing monetised subscriptions now. This update has messed up my library to the point where I can’t tell which episode is which so I have to keep going to schedule and catch up. I loved LBC and I get you need to make money but geez! Deleted straight away. Why do you need my email address why don’t you dedicated to the two stations that it’s meant to be ### 1/5 — Adverts on kids killing kids *2025-08-19* Honestly this app is rank, just been shown an ad on a video of a kid before he was stabbed, profiteering off of misery, the apps janky, it never saves how much you’ve listened to on catch up so every time i open the app i have to find what minute i’ve listened to, half the time the rewind and pause doesn’t work out of app, the catch up section is just slow to listen find whatever catch up you want to listen to, it’s takes them sometimes hours to put up the latest downloads for catch up, constant spelling and grammar mistakes on nearly every article and don’t get me started on the constant immigration and click bait headlines, honestly a joke of an app, update, just had another advert on a video of a gunman on a motorcycle opening fire on 2 and a child, really well done lbc 👍🏻 **Developer response:** Hello, thank you for your review.
