In fact, this dictionary the largest source of English definitions on the planet - larger than even OED. All the Commonwealth countries would disagree that US spelling is more common. Rather than abstract definition, this dictionary provides you real speaking English with real audio samples from voice actors. English EFL speaker, it is recommendable to stay with one Dictionary until you feel you are used to near all words in one easy dictionary for advanced leaners. Being exposed too much sentence possibly limits your ability to remember. I recommend you to keep read this Dictionary until you let go English itself from your life. Dictionaries like Oxford or Cambridge are fantastic but they cannot be used like English vocabulary book which help you retain all vocabulary until you stop using English. Again this advice is for EFL learner who started using English intensively becoming adults not even to ESL learner. I also recommend you to buy a paper dictionary. EFL teacher alway emphasize to learn from real world reading, but it is half true. If you are advanced EFL learner, you can guess almost all English words without precise Dictionary definition, which is fantastic. However, on flip side, it limits your chance to be an accurate English speaker. Take Longman Dictionary as real world English vocabulary book. Read through sometimes page by page. Try to recall your life or learning experience with each vocabulary.
