Not only can I pick an awesome scripture that I find while I study my scriptures but the backgrounds are just perfect. I love cool space or natural backgrounds, everyone has their own favorite, and this app has both of those and many other awesome picture backgrounds. Perfect for spiritual knowledge if you want to ponder a verse, but will also fit in great as a regular background screen. I wouldn't want it any other way. Edit: Has not been updated to support the newest phone screen shape/sizes. Like, quotes from current and past prophets and apostles. Just happy and healthy quotes, quotes from good books and so on.. It can also use more pictures for backgrounds, more fonts. What’s going on there? ### 4/5 — Ponderize App Suggestion *2021-12-12, version 2.1.0* I absolutely love this App. If I could make 3 suggestions they would be: 1) allow the user to be able to edit saved scriptures (add to or delete other scriptures instead of deleting the whole scripture that was saved and resaving it) 2) allow user to have more than one scripture (different books) on the same save (cross referencing and saving 3) have the App randomly notify you if the scriptures you are learning (similar to a scripture a day. I would love it if the app were updated for newer displays. ### 3/5 — Great Concept - Buggy App *2020-08-30, version 2.1.0* When saving a scripture or quote to photos it either freezes the Ponderize app so I have to quit the app and reopen, or it will save it to photos, but when I choose it as a wallpaper the scripture can’t be sized to my iPhone screen, it’s way too big, and as such can’t be read. I’m using and iPhone 11 Pro Max running the most current IOS and have the upgraded Ponderize app. Other then that the app works as promised. ### 4/5 — Love it BUT.. *2020-08-09, version 2.1.0* I love this app, but the screen I edit verses is not what I get in the finished product. The verses won’t fit on my iOS iPhone 10 without some creative editing, and since latest update they won’t fit even with it. It is an amazing tool for keeping the scriptures in the forefront of my mind and great for sharing scriptures with others. Wish I could send feedback to them without having to have a email set up. Choosing extra small text size on an iPhone Plus yields large size text in the exported image. This app has not been updated in a year. Must be an abandoned app. Too bad because I really liked the idea. ### 2/5 — Can't get it to scale right *2017-08-13, version 2.1.0* I'm about to remove this app from my phone. I think it's a wonderful thing but I can't seem to get it to scale right for my iPhone 6. I followed the directions to pick a scripture or use their backgrounds even though I upgraded it so that I could use my own backgrounds. But once I save it to my photos and try and put it as my lock screen the words don't fit on the screen and scroll off the sides. This is the only problem and the reason I gave it to stars, but I would love to upgrade us to five stars if someone could figure out what I'm doing wrong. ### 5/5 — Just what I was looking for! *2017-05-16, version 2.1.0* I couldn't even believe this was actually an app - it is exactly what I wanted and more! I always wanted to have a verse as my lockscreen but didn't like just having a screenshot of the verse from Gospel Library. This app gives you the ability to have just the scripture(s) you want to ponderize and still in an aesthetically pleasing way! We mirror our verse on our Apple TV and discuss them as a family so we can learn together. It's hard for me to read scriptures daily but having a scripture (that I chose so it actually applies to my life) for my lock screen makes me feel not so guilty 😄 Plus it's super nice that I can splice up different verses & quotes & completely customize my screen to whatever I want. This app was also easy for me to use which is a plus because I don't have the patience for complicated apps. Everything else closes the app. I don’t need a fancy background or my verse history, I would just like to have the verse I pick available for memorizing. I paid for the full app. There's nothing I couldn't access without paying three bucks. 2. When I ponderize a verse sometimes it's just one or two lines that stick out to me, but with this app I had to select the whole verse every time. (and some of those verses are super long) 3. It's only the standard works. I wish this app had modern publications and quotes from the living day prophets that we could ponderize as well. Especially General Conference talks!!!
