### 4/5 — Needed updating

*2026-01-08*

I asked about President Oaks and LDSBot did not realize he was the current prophet. Needs to be updated.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback! LDSBot has now been updated with this information.

### 5/5 — Great

*2025-10-11*

Love it

### 1/5 — Annoying!

*2025-08-12*

advertising is so annoying. a banner ad across the program I’m watching and I can’t get rid of it!

**Developer response:** LDSBot does not have any in-app advertising.

### 5/5 — A Fantastic App

*2025-08-04*

I love how this app can help me find scriptures I’m looking for based on questions I ask it. I appreciate how it answers difficult questions with caveats that feel appropriate imo, and can help you know where to look next for further evidence and answers.

### 5/5 — Great resource!

*2025-07-11*

Love the ease of use and the excellent information on this app. Thank you for creating a great tool for gospel study or teaching. Excellent for sparking great conversations!

### 5/5 — I love LDSBot

*2025-07-04*

I’m so thankful for this app, it quickly helps me find scriptures and conference talks I’m looking for and it’s super helpful at helping me learn about things related to the gospel.

I also really love that it’s started to link to the sources directly. It’s so helpful to be able to jump right to a conference talk or resource that is referenced.

I’m hoping that it will start linking to the scriptures that it references too so that we can jump to the referenced scriptures with a single tap too.

### 1/5 — Decent for parroting, bad for learning

*2025-06-24*

This app might help you write a talk for sacrament meeting, but it is not good at tackling anything more complex or nuanced than a primary lesson. It hedges every statement, and won’t help you deal with any tough questions. In trying to make a faith-promoting app, they’ve actually made an intellectually dishonest app, that will ultimately only benefit lazy learners. Use it to write a lesson, but don’t use it if you want to learn anything or deepen your understanding.

### 1/5 — Can’t answer any direct questions without word salad?

*2025-06-24*

The bot shuts down at the slightest direct questioning.

Present it with evidence about no coinage in pre-Colombian America? It can’t handle it and shuts down

Ask it why past first presidency statements say that the priesthood will never be given to black people and specifically called it “doctrine”? It says “have a nice day” and shuts down

It’s almost like it was programmed to not follow critical lines of thought. Although I was also similarly programmed to think as such by the cult, so I guess it tracks (I’m using the word “cult” very precisely according to the BITE model definition)
