## What is Leaderball?

One question a day. Prove you know ball.

Every morning at 08:00 UK time a new football question drops. Name all five answers: the last five players to wear Liverpool's #7, the top five English scorers in league history, the five youngest goalscorers ever.

The clock starts when you do. You start on 1,000 points and lose 5 every second. Every wrong guess costs 50. Leave the app to look it up and it costs you 300. Leave twice and you're out.

- One question, 24 hours, the same for everyone
- Live leaderboards: today, this week, all time and your club
- Private leagues with your mates, joined with a code
- Streaks, badges and frames you earn by playing
- See how rare each answer was: did only 4% of players find it?
- Share your score card to the group chat
- Play in your browser too at leaderball.app, with the same account

Every answer is checked against at least two sources before it goes live.

Leaderball is an independent fan-made game. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by any league, club or player.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.0.1 — 2026-10-17

Every correct answer now locks in 50 points you can't lose, so a 4/5 never ends on 0. Giving up keeps a share of your points for the names you got right.

### 1.0 — 2026-10-16

No release notes.
