### 4/5 — Excellent ebook reader

*2026-07-30*

Easy to use with most necessary options for a non-DRM reader. The developer has resolved a bug mentioned in my previous review and responds to requests by his app users. This is a nice, easy to use reader at a very fair one-time fee.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the detail — "the text gradually shifts until you are seeing portions of two pages" is precisely what I needed, and it let me find the cause.

I had set a gap between the text columns. The page turn scrolls by exactly one screen width, but the columns are laid out one gap wider than that, so every turn left the text a little further along than the scroll went, and it accumulated until two pages shared the screen. It reset at each new chapter, which is why it came and went.

An earlier update fixed a different version of this and clearly did not fix yours. The gap is now gone and I measured the text block staying put across page turns. The build is on its way to review.

If anything still splits after that update, I would be glad to hear it.

### 1/5 — Excellent ebook reader

*2026-07-26*

This ebook reader has great potential. Easy to use with most necessary options for a non-DRM reader. Hopefully the developer will resolve bugs that make the app unusable at present. As move through a book the text gradually shifts until you are seeing portions of two pages on the screen making reading impossible.

### 5/5 — Excellent ebook reader

*2026-07-08*

Easy to use with all the essential options to read your DRM fee ebooks. This app is still under development as I write this but it has already become my primary epub reader. A one-time, very reasonable, fee.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.14 — 2026-08-19

Appearance settings now link straight to the App Store review page. The rating prompt also arrives at better moments and no longer lands on top of another screen.

### 1.13 — 2026-08-11

You can now sort your library by recently opened, recently added, title, or author. Leafmark remembers your selection for the next time you open the app.

### 1.12 — 2026-07-29

Fixed the bug that made the text creep sideways as you read, until one screen showed parts of two pages. It built up through a chapter and reset at the next one, so it looked like it came and went. It is gone.

Appearance now shows which version you are running, under About.

### 1.11 — 2026-07-27

The Font Weight control now takes effect on the page you are reading. Previously it only applied the next time a book was opened, so it looked like nothing happened until the text snapped to bold.

### 1.10 — 2026-07-25

Free readers now get one Markdown export, so you can see exactly what lands in your notes before deciding to buy.

The description now also states that vertical Japanese text (tategaki) renders as the book declares it.

Fixed a crash that could happen when opening the share sheet to export.
