Won’t connect to Nissan Leaf 2 2020 after update!
After the latest update, the app completely stopped connecting to my Nissan Leaf 2 2020. Car is fine, OBD adapter works with other apps, but here—nothing. Same issue for many Leaf owners of this model (checked forums). Roll back the update or fix the bug ASAP! Very disappointed…

First time leaving an app review but felt compelled to share my experience. The user interface is a bit difficult to figure out, I think that why it’s rated close to 3.5 stars, but it works. This is a great tool if you want to know more about your battery health but also like me you have DTCs (aka MIL/check engine light) Saved me a trip to the dealer and I was able to fix my no engine start issue. Even if you’re not a DIY person, getting the codes and using some AI you can at least have a good conversation with your vehicle service center. Finding the DTC was challenging, I had to ask an AI bot for help. Final note, yes you must have a Bluetooth OBD II scanner for this to work. Make sure you perform a search to confirm compatibility with the OBD II reader and this app.

Essential for monitoring battery health (SoH, degradation, cell balance) with a compatible OBD-II adapter. I especially the ability to export trip logs to CSV for Excel/Dropbox.

- Clunky UI, hard-to-read graphs
- Poor in-app help

Request: 
Outside temperature & avg efficiency (mi/kWh) to trip logs for better analysis.

App is good, but you need to watch YouTube videos to understand things, if you are new to them.
The major issue is regular dropbox expiration.
Hope that can be corrected.
UI / UX can be improved massively, but I can live with that.

Das ist wohl die schlechteste App die ich je gesehen habe! Komplett unübersichtlich vom Aufbau, kein wirkliches Menü, nichts! Hat beim ersten Mal eine Stunde gedauert bis ich endlich dahinter gekommen bin wie man bspw Fehler löschen kann… beim zweiten Mal wars dann nur eine halbe Stunde bis ich den Punkt endlich gefunden habe… auch die angezeigten Werte sind nicht wirklich gut… die Batterie des Fahrzeugs hat zwei Zellen die defekt sind. Mit dieser Software ist dies nirgends erkennbar.. diese App sagt alles super und gut… ich hätte alles erwartet aber nicht so einen unnützbare App …. Da es keine trial gibt, spart euch einfach den Kauf, den er ist nicht erstattbar !

This just doesn’t work on my 2017 leaf. Simply won’t connect to it. I’ve seen online it’s supposed to be great. But it didn’t work my for 2017 leaf and the UI is so clunky it’d be really hard to work even it it did connect to the car.

Despite following the instructions carefully regarding selecting the dongle WiFi and setting for ip, the app doesn’t detect the WiFi ssid in use (fields are blank), so can’t set it in settings. Wasted £20. Pity I used to use the original free app which worked well.

Downloaded this to my iPhone 16 max pro, and it’s not working… will not connect to vehicle.. tried on another android phone. And that connects to my obd dongle, and car…. iPhone does work with that obd dongle….
requested refund, but seller rejected it, now I have just spent £33 on his product, and I can only use the one that was cheaper £12…. will not be able to use this on my iPhone… no worries, enjoy those £20, karma is out there 👍🏻

Пробовал несколько адаптеров. Последний был VieCar. К адаптеру телефон подключается, в  приложении написано: «Ожидание ELM». И больше ничего не происходит. Адаптер соответственно с другими приложениями работает. Leafspy на андроид работает с этими адаптерами. Не тратьте деньги

I used this app extensively on my 2023 Leaf and loved it! Now I have a 2026 Leaf and would happily pay extra for this app to support it. 2026 Leaf is an entirely different generation from the previous ones and not currently supported.

I was test driving a 2018 Leaf and found out the battery had a bad SOH. I didn’t purchase that because of this app. I found one with a good battery SOH and scoped it out again with this app and the OBDLink MC+ connector. This helped me so much with finding a good Leaf to buy!!!

This app is an incredible tool allowing owners to see many aspects of their Leaf vehicle parameters. Including the High Voltage battery information and overall health.  Low voltage battery is also available. I use it to reduce my range anxiety on road trips since it will show be the real battery State of Charge (SOC) and an estimated DTE ( Distance to Empty). I set mine to show the estimated range until real 1% SOC.  I use this instead of relying on the dashboard range, which is more conservative.  It also allows you to see and reset DTCs ( Diagnostic Trouble Codes).

Bought an ODB2 adapter that was said to work with the software, and it didn’t. Emailed the developer at 10am on a sunday and got a response back in 26 minutes giving me access to a beta that fixed the problem (which should be out soon). Very much appreciative.

Чтоб ее подключить, надо голову поломать. Что я выяснил. Обд должен быть только с wi-fi. Зайти в приложени, сверху справа нажать на меню (три полоски) и нажать на справку. Далее в меню нажать wi-fi справка.  И там будет описано подключение на Английском. Но думаю вы сможете это закинуть в переводчик.  Там все по пунктам описано. 
В кратце - обд надо будет зарегестрировать в программе.

Leafspy is hands down the best thing you can have for a leaf.  Checking battery health as well as resetting codes.

Inexpensive and a must have!
