They also listen to user feedback and on many cases will update the app to reflect good, positive, constructive improvements. If you’re serious about fantasy football, this is the app for your crew. On discord I made a suggestion and it was implemented during one of the updates. The fact that they are willing to listen to customers is awesome. ### 5/5 — Hidden Gem Becoming Dominant Fantasy App? *2026-03-26* When my friends and I discovered League Tycoon, it felt like finding buried treasure. We quickly built our dream league, without the usual compromises other fantasy apps force upon you. Tycoon stands out with its fully automated contract system, an ad-free and gambling-free interface, powerful commissioner tools, and a modern league chat that rivals something like Discord. On top of that, their team is incredibly responsive to questions and feedback. Easy 5 out of 5 stars. This is the closest you are going to get to feeling like an actual GM of a team. While there are some features missing still, the app’s understanding of how a simulation nfl experience should feel like in the fantasy world is phenomenal. Specifically Matt Gaines doesn’t know how to do anything. ### 1/5 — Co-commish *2022-03-16, version 2.7.1* Our League is ran by 2 commisioners, we both had the power to change league settings and manually adjust contracts ect. but now only one of us is allowed to, why did this change? Will change this to 5 star when this is fixed. ### 2/5 — Love it but watch out *2026-06-06* I do enjoy the format this app provides…but my god there are some little life comfort things that have yet to get to tycoon. Down to even just the layout and interface. My leaguemates and i are anxious for Sleeper to implement a contract format. Once that happens….. if Tycoon can’t mimic some of the comforts of sleeper, they’ll get buried. It’ll be over. So, yeah, the app works and accomplishes what we want it to but there just some clunky mechanics that are so much more smoothed out in other leagues. I keep my fingers crossed for tycoon because it’s def a fun format. ### 2/5 — Kludgy layout and workflow. Highly suboptimal for traditional auction drafts *2025-06-24* Great idea - terrible execution. If you’ve done any amount of auction drafts you may find this format lacking. No bird’s eye view of the league & on going draft as-is. When you click on a player you can’t bid on them from there, you have to x out of them to do anything else. The entire thing is very kludgy ### 2/5 — A bit archaic *2021-12-29, version 2.5.1* App has a long way to go. It’s a “pay to play” app and doesn’t have a GIF chat feature. Hopefully it happens soon ### 3/5 — Good, but could be better *2025-09-30* This app is great for tracking all the dynasty features. However, there are some severe missing features. 1. You can’t look ahead to set lineups, you can only operate in the current weeks lineup. 2. Chat room lacks all basic functions of any other chat room. Can’t react to others comments. Can’t reply to them. Can’t open pictures sent in the chat. Basically the chat function is stuck in the year 2009 when texting first became available ### 3/5 — Is this even playable? *2021-08-17, version 2.2.4* So a few major red herrings first. 1.) Most reviews come in the early offseason long before any drafts occur and long after any season would end. 2.)Their ranked leagues hardly fill 3.) They offer no ability to edit pre draft rankings 4.) You cannot share invites to public leagues. the app lacks alot of information and frankly is piss poor organization. the concept of coaches is cool but super gimmicky and unbalanced. One gives you an extra RB and a RB yardage boost. while another Takes points away from RBs and gives smaller bonuses to WR’s, QBs and TEs. (arguably a breakeven). The cost nature of the app and limitation and clear fake reviews seem to make it a borderline scam. I have reached out for support regarding my quickjoin rabked league being moved 6 days last minute and havent gotten a response, which considering in the middle of the offseason response time (according ot reviews) was 10 minutes, and I, during peak draft season, havent gotten a response in 30 makes me further qiestuon the legitimacy of this application and the credit I would give to youtubers who unfortunately share this application blindly. I will be “trying” to play the app further and will update this review. Edit- Update 8/17 First up, I reicieved a supoort and response a few hours after posting this. Support was awesome, polite, and effective.
