It was a great way to upload a months worth of videos while also cleaning out my camera roll. Please bring that back :) also a way to turn off the “filter out screenshots” option for longer than just a day. I’ve tried a few other apps that serve the same purpose, but this one definitely allows me the most freedom in picking videos (e.g. sometimes i like to do more than one a day). One feature I’d love to see is being able to edit the date (e.g. scale, location, format) as it often get’s cropped out in instagram reels in it’s current position in the bottom left corner :/ ### 2/5 — Unable to export videos *2024-07-09, version 3.7.6* App crashed when trying to export videos so I contacted support. Response was to make sure I didn’t have any Live Photos in the app. First of all, the impetus should not be placed on the consumer to do this. Second of all, it would be a ridiculous amount of work to try to troubleshoot this. I give up and won’t be renewing my annual subscription. Disappointed that there isn’t a better fix for a paying customer. ### 2/5 — Disappointing update *2024-06-06, version 3.7.3* I am a big fan of this app but after recently updating via the App Store it completely deleted all previous work. I’m sure there’s a way you can update your app without doing this or letting people know before they update. The only solution from customer service is for you to go through every single video/photo, deleting and replacing until the compilation video works. If so, how did you resolve the problem? ### 1/5 — Worst App In The Entire World *2023-10-23, version 3.2.0* This is the app I've used for 3 years now to do my kids' annual birthday videos, documenting an entire year of their lives. The brilliant design of the app is that it populates pics from each day of that year. The HORRIBLE part is that it crashes over and over again when uploading pics...and THEN, when you go to put a video together, it throws an export error code routinely, preventing you from actually making anything after spending HOURS uploading pics to each day in order to make the video. I had this issue last year and it's happening again now. Same customer service issue too. Their "Help Center" is a joke and the chat feature takes up to 2 weeks to respond to you. Then, the "help" isn't really helpful. They just tell you "sorry, you need to go back through and export portions to find where the error is, then delete it". Really?! How is this MY job as the consumer, especially after paying for a service? I wish I could get a refund of my subscription along with a refund of the hours of my life I've poured into making this app work a refund for emotional damages from having to wait on their customer support team that doesn't exist. Screw you guys. ### 2/5 — deleted all my videos and can’t make new ones! *2023-09-20, version 3.7.1* I love this app but it has a lot of issues since I updated the software on my iPhone, the app deleted all my videos and it won’t let me make new ones either - it comes up with an error message. It’s done this before and I let it slide because I enjoyed this app so much I bought the pro version hoping it won’t happen again but it did... I reached out but not heard anything in back in two weeks. I would like a refund please ### 1/5 — App doesn’t work, Support doesn’t respond *2023-09-14, version 3.7.1* $30 for the app that doesn’t work. :-( Getting an error message with the video export, which makes the app unusable. Been trying for over a week to get a hold of their support team through the ‘Contact Us’ feature - but no response. :-( Their status says “back online later today” but the message status keeps saying “not seen”. Uploading videos was so easy. Then I didn’t use it and deleted it for a year or so. When i reinstalled it, it must have updated?? It can’t function and is a completely broken app. Super disappointing considering it literally worked so well previously. Now I have to find a different app to use. Once my slideshow was created the app would not let me share. The download would not pass 60% after multiple attempts. When you click for help, it says that the certificate is not safe and cannot be trusted when visiting their website the copyright hasn’t been updated since 2022. Even though the app is being updated, something doesn’t seem right legally. without a privacy policy in place (which is even referenced in the terms of agreement) I can’t trust where my data is going and what’s happening with my recordings. Meanwhile, this app has all the elements that are important - an uncluttered UI, but most importantly, the ability to quickly add a clip on the fly - I love the ability to open the app straight into the camera! A sunset, the family cat doing something fun, or just riding through a car wash, it’s those instantaneous moments/seconds that get recorded easily into the journal. It’s one of our favorite traditions to bring in the new year. My kiddos will access my photos and rewatch the videos over and over.
