## What is Leap Top Up?

This official Leap Top-Up app from Transport for Ireland (TFI) allows you to check your balance, top-up your TFI Leap Card and purchase tickets - directly from your NFC-enabled iPhone.

Open the app and simply hold your TFI Leap Card to the back, top of your iPhone to instantly check your balance, buy a ticket, collect a pre-paid ticket, or top-up your card – anytime, anywhere.

My card won’t read on this repeatedly saying to place if flat and not giving me a another clear way to do it, I love the idea I would make it so you can create a account and then it automatically sends a updated balance on all your saved cards

Leider kann ich seit dem neustem Update meine Karte nicht mehr scannen. Ich hatte nichts eingestellt gehabt oder geändert. Auch mit WLAN funktioniert es nicht. Und ich hatte vermehrt Benachrichtigungen erhalten, dass ich die App aktualisieren sollte, obwohl es schon lange war. Aktuell ist das nicht mehr der Fall aber das Problem mit dem Scanner ist immer noch da. Hab ein iPhone 13 mini mit neuster Version.

The TFI payment system obviously needs a rework, and hopefully in a few years the contactless payment system will be implemented. But this app itself is actually pretty solid. It almost always works for me, and when it doesn’t, the issue seems to be with my phone or iOS itself, not this app. In light of that, I consider the other reviews of it to be unjustly harsh. I like being able to easily see the transaction history and top up with such little effort — plus seeing how much time is left on the TFI 90-minute fare since you first tapped on is very helpful. So all-around, I’d say this is a good app — and to the developers, thanks for making it!
