She was so good at stuff when it wasn’t glitchy, but then I got glitchy and she was like mom I wanna play mom I wanna play mom I wanna play. I wanna play it and then I was like well Sweeney and it’s not gonna work so it didn’t work and it sucks but also it’s very boring for her. Other than that awesome app! I’ve used it before a few years ago ago and it was good but very glitchy so I ended up not using it again again for a while. They’ve made it a lot better and the improvements are Absolutely amazing! After trying other apps. The price is amazing for everything that you get. They certainly haven’t cut that many corners. Please add more books that would be awesome. And add some more non-fiction books. As a blind and autistic user of leapfrog products I can tell you they are awesome. Once you get them set up. They are a nightmare to set up, but very easy to use once you set them up. And thank you for listening to us about letting us sign in through things like iTunes or whatever again because I don’t like having to sign in through the website and having to give a credit card and everything else. That is totally ridiculous to me. Like I said the set up of leapfrog stuff is a pain but otherwise everything is very awesome and fun. Like that they added the game buttons to the books just like the V reader or tag or leap pad and leaf start systems. Nice awesome job. The only other kink that I found is not being able to exit out of videos tutorials when you start certain activities and hit the tutorial by mistake. This is for the books. Also when some books start I just don’t like having to listen to the tutorial every time. Other than that, those few things are my only gripes but other than that awesome app and keep up the good work! Awesome as always! This is from a person that has used leapfrog from The old create a word, traveler and phonics games and letter alphabet boards to leap pad learning systems, where I learned so much that my family wanted to have it brailed so that it could help help me with with my braille as I was having a hard hard time. And leaf pads Helped me thrive in certain areas. That’s how I got interested in things like algebra expressions, and how I learned about bottlenose dolphins and aging. Also being interested in whether I would play the weather activity over and over again and I really enjoyed it. It helped me learn about people like Marie Curie and learn about things like Suffixes. Also helped me learn about how much I like the music from schoolhouse rock. Lol! It’s nice that a company that’s been around for such a long time has made a very amazing app. ### 3/5 — Wish this worked properly *2024-07-09, version 1.25* What is with this app, the volume won’t come on most of the time! I’m glad I haven’t paid the subscription. I put this on my grand daughters iPad she loves when it work right. So aggravating. I’m also aggravated with the Leapfrog activity device. Says download video/audio. The mess ain’t working. I even bought a separate bundle of booklets, wasted $$$. Y’all need to fix the issues! Very disappointed. I was going to renew but I think I’ll find something that actually works without freezing all the time. ### 4/5 — nostalgia *2023-07-29, version 1.22* i completely forgot about this game, but i will just say i used to play this as a little kid, it definitely deserves a high star rating. there are lots of educational games and resources that will actually make your children learn something, and yes, i learned something from this app… the app has this land where you make a character that travels when you play more games and yeah, very colorful, adventurous. 9/10 and 4/5 are my ratings! ### 3/5 — Nightmare recurring charges *2023-01-23, version 1.22* I have paid $26.65 4 times in 2 years and this app isn’t even on any of our devices. I have searched now 2 hours how to remove myself from this recurring charge. I found a 1800 number and hope they can help me today! The app closes, freezes, or is stuck loading every 5 minutes. The last update was a year ago so the developers obviously don’t care about making the product functional. After this month ends I won’t be using it until they fix the app. They’re just stealing peoples money and I’m not going to support them. I’ll be using abc mouse from now on✌🏾 ### 1/5 — Doesn’t Work *2022-03-29, version 1.22* This app is frustrating. My 4 year old loves it, loves the games and learning and collecting rewards and that’s why we bought a subscription. Unfortunately the app hardly ever works consistently. It has major issues loading just about anything so when we complete an activity it will crash, when opening the app it will crash, when we finish a Learning Adventure lesson to collect a reward it will crash, etc. The worst thing that has happened to us is that my child had collected a fair amount of collection pieces as well as character customization options that just disappeared and the app acted as if we had just started the app for the very first time despite us having 12 certificates and saving our progress. We have contacted customer support a few times and they’ve been less than helpful. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app (three times) which didn’t solve our issues and the only response I received was “It seems to be working on our end.” Based on the reviews I really doubt that considering I know somebody that has the Leapfrog tablet and they have the same issues we are having on iOS. I caution all parents because while the games are great the execution is incredibly frustrating and the lack of concern for support is downright infuriating. I was hoping they were fixing these issues but reviews from 3 years ago tell me that the concern for the developers isn’t in fixing these issues. ### 1/5 — Constantly crashes *2022-03-12, version 1.22* The overall thought is super nice. The app is fun with bright colors. However it crashes ALL. THE. TIME. I constantly have to restart our iPad to get it to work again. Super annoying as it’s a great app BUT super buggy. Definitely not worth being subscribed and paying monthly/ yearly for an app that just won’t work. The sound comes back after I uninstall and reinstall while the app is open but the sound disappears every time after I close the app and open it again so I have to uninstall and reinstall and log in every day!!! The app has no audio. Poor quality control on the app testing. The next day I was playing it when I first got it, it said “Go on the App Store and when you see leap frog on it tap on it and when you see where it says Update press it” so, I did the instructions but when I pressed on the blue oval that said update it would not work even If I pressed it delicately or a lot. When signing up I was required to put in my payment information. Tragically, a few days after signing up we lost our baby boy. In the aftermath of grief I completely forgot about the trial (we didn’t even use it after the death of our baby) and didn’t even think about the subscription after the trial ended. I never received any alert or warning that we would be charged. With grief overshadowing our lives we didn’t check statements after our loss. I just recently noticed the app listed under my subscriptions and remembered faintly that I had signed up for a free trial. I contacted support to request a refund and have been told that refunds are only for recent subscriptions.
