My handheld device is connecting via wifi but the app says the camera is offline. This is only solvable through multiple restarts of camera and app, which is annoying, takes time and often produces notification sounds that wake the baby. I initially really liked the product but this sucks.

I find it so strange that a company as large as vtech/leap frog would spend so little money to make sure their app functions properly. My main issue with the app is that event recordings will only load sporadically. The developer has responded to this here by having people reset their cameras. THIS IS NOT A CAMERA PROBLEM. It’s an app problem. The videos are being recorded they are just not loading to be viewed consistently. I know this because I will try clicking on the same one over and over and now and then I get lucky and it will load and can be viewed. Super frustrating when you’re trying to figure out what time your kid actually woke up or what happened that made them start crying. At the time of this review, according to Apple, it’s been a year since an update. Other apps regularly send bug fixes and updates. I don’t recommend this baby monitor to friends or family because of the app. It’s going to affect sales eventually if it hasn’t already. It makes absolutely no sense to not spend the money to fix the problems.

Please fix your app. You guys fixed the notifications issue but now I get notified twice with every notification. It hasn’t been recording sound/motion. I can’t look at previous motion detection recordings. I have to close and reopen the app several times before the video will load. I love your monitor, please please release a better version of the app soon EDIT: you told me to restart it and I’ve tried everything. There are other reviews stating the same issue and you continue to just say try restarting. I haven’t been able to see events in my app in close to a year. I’ve just gotten used to it. I’ve already gotten a replacement so I didn’t want to ask for another one

It is a shame that this app is not available for cozyla calendar! The Leap frog baby care+ is, they are owned by the same company! You guys definitely need to fix that and make it available! If one leap frog can be so can the other one! It is already a shame you made two different apps and I can’t have all my baby monitors in one!
