### 3/5 — This is Ok

*2022-12-04, version 7.0.0*

But when will you be bringing the Laugh & Learn Apps back?

### 3/5 — So sad 😥

*2022-06-10, version 7.0.0*

I’m 9 year old now and puppy play was here wend I was 6 BUT I DID NOT GET A CHANCE TO SAY GOODBYE 😡but this game is so awesome my sister had this game when she was 5 but now she 7 years old so sad to see her grow up

### 3/5 — Aww I miss the old app!

*2022-02-06, version 7.0.0*

My first child is 7 yrs old now but back when he was just 6 months old to around 2/3 yrs we both enjoyed the old fisher price apps so much that when I had my newest little one I wanted to download the apps again only to find out there no longer on the App Store and now there’s a new version, the new version is okay but I gotta say the old app with the cute little rhymes like Pattycake and the itsy bitsy spider was our fav this app only has one rhyme witch is “1,2 buckle my shoe” witch we also love but disappointed that this app only includes one rhyme for the rhymes section witch is misleading as it’s labeled (Rhymes). Please bring back the old app!

### 4/5 — 0 plays left

*2021-12-02, version 7.0.0*

My 3 year old daughter absolutely loves this app. However, it ended up saying she had 0 plays left. Nowhere on the app allows you to purchase. Or pay for more plays. It says unlock for free plays so we go in and enter our information but then says my email already exist. And again, with no option to pay for more plays. So she’s been really upset. I had to enter another email. I hope this isn’t the only way to play this app.
Other than that, I would have given 5 stars.

### 3/5 — My Daughter loved this

*2021-10-18, version 7.0.0*

6 years or so ago when she was around two or three- ish. I went to listen to some of the songs again and saw that it needs to be updated. Read the reviews that make it sound like it’s completely different. That’s sad. It’s like losing family pictures in a way.

### 1/5 — Bring back puppy!!

*2021-02-13, version 6.1.3*

I got a new iPad and went to download the puppy game that my son absolutely loves so much and while tryin to find it, I realized it doesn’t even exist anymore and it went to this stupid thing! I don’t know who’s brilliant idea was to do that! The only way I found out about it was readin through all the reviews and saw that people were saying to bring back the puppy game. This “new” game is not very educational at all! It’s extremely boring and nothin to do and doesn’t teach hardly anything! My son is really behind with words and talking and he was really picking up a lot of words from the puppy game, he can’t do that with this darn thing. If people, including myself are even willin to pay to bring that other puppy game back, then do it! There’s no sense in keeping a game that people and kids hate

### 1/5 — Bring back the old games

*2021-02-06, version 6.1.3*

My 3 year old had not used our old iPad for awhile but tonight we decided after a long day ( he was up at 4 am and I’m 9 months pregnant) we would let him play games on the iPad as long as he wanted. He is very specific about what games he will play. If he opens it one time and doesn’t immediately like it he will never give the game another chance. He wouldn’t use abc mouse because it didn’t just open to one game. He loved the old fisher price apps that are now suddenly gone and when he tried to open then tonight just started screaming and crying saying that everything was broken and he looked completely heart broken. I understand if you want to discontinue an app but why can it not stay available for those who already had it downloaded. I downloaded this app but it’s garbage.

### 1/5 — Un-FREAKING BELIEVABLY RIDICULOUS

*2021-01-21, version 6.1.3*

I first purchased this app for my oldest daughter when she was young, she now has a baby sister and I was so excited to find these apps for her! She adored the apps. You did not have the parents and ESPECIALLY NOT the children in mind when you did this. My child HATES the new app HATES! Kids need CONSISTENCY and you took that from them. ESPECIALLY DURING A PANDEMIC!!! YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED. I don’t want to hear consolidate this and that nonsense because the app you have now is TRASH compared to what they were before. My child won’t even open the app. Where is the “Where is Puppy” the parts of the body??? I don’t see it, the shapes and colors is soo different she HATES EM ALL. Like I said SHAMEFUL! If you care anything about the consumers and children you will do the right thing and BRING THE OLD APP BACK!

### 1/5 — Waste of time

*2020-11-29, version 6.1.1*

I’m sick of the canned responses on here from fisher price. “We had to say goodbye to some beloved games...blah blah...consolidate..blah blah”. Give me a break. How can you pull your clearly “beloved” apps during a freaking global pandemic when parents are at their wits end. I’ve been waiting for the stupid homer app to update with the content of the formerly “beloved” apps, and it still hasn’t happened. Why would you as a company remove content before it was in place in the new app?? My toddler HATES the homer app the way it is now and he cries when he sees it on the screen, so now I don’t even bother giving him the iPad, so I guess thank you for turning my child off to technology completely? Also he has the stuffed fisher price puppy which was featured in these apps. He now hates the puppy and calls it a “traitor” because he can’t understand why the puppy isn’t available for him to play with on the iPad any more. I try to explain the concept of consolidation, but I don’t think he quite gets it yet. So congrats, my kid now hates fisher price, and won’t ever play with another fisher price toy.

### 1/5 — My little one is mad!

*2020-11-23, version 6.1.1*

I’ve had the original puppy app for 5 years (since my first child ). It helped her learn her shapes, colors, and numbers. The app was easy for young toddlers to use and interactive so they can learn/play at their own speed.

My second child (now approaching 2 years) loved the old app as well. She has zero interest in these new videos. ZERO. She’s gets so upset because she wants to play the old interactive games.

Why get rid of the old games? Just dash them away with no replacement? These videos are not interactive, the activities that are interactive are long and boring. There is nothing of use for the youngest learners. Nothing. I want the old app back!

### 1/5 — Waste

*2020-11-16, version 6.1.1*

My son loved the Fisher price apps. He was learning a lot the first words he loved also all the story books. He started with the fisher price app that taught parts of your body. This new app is crap!! Don’t waste your time down loading it Fisher Price should come back with their other apps that were educational this is not stickers not educational. Bad move on Fisher Price very disappointing

Not sure why Fisher price ruined what they have and your response is useless it’s the same for everyone kids no longer learn from your apps. I think you should take into consideration that you are getting more negative reviews than positive. Bad business decision loosing kids and parents

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Updates killed the app.

*2022-12-26, version 7.0.0*

Was fine when it was just called “Puppy”, simple and super easy to use. Flash forward a year and a half later and I’m trying to teach my baby her A-B-C’s and the app is so convoluted and complex and slow now.

### 1/5 — Conformity over simplicity

*2022-09-15, version 7.0.0*

We’ve got a lot of apps. This app turned from a great, simple app that was a wonderful brand ambassador for Fisher Price into a low grade version for every other app.

The old app could be used by a 6 month old and was great. This new substitute app got rid of the super simple stuff and substituted it with a low grade version of everything else that’s out there. Worse, it looks like they’ve stopped updating it.

Yeah, things change and all that but why break something that was fine as is if you’re not going to do anything with it? Bad call.

### 1/5 — Upset

*2022-08-02, version 7.0.0*

I wrote a review and got some messed up line just bring back original stop messing with special needs kids life I am not understanding why you can’t have both game don’t you understand that the game you created is not compatible with all kid if I have a phone number or email even a address I would not stop nice to know that fisher price only cares about normal kids at this point I will never buy anything from fisher price or support them they are a joke. And if this review isn’t loud enough let me see what social media thinks of this

### 1/5 — Bring back the basic!

*2021-12-28, version 7.0.0*

I’m so sad they ruined their former easy to use app!!! I’ve looked around at so many apps to try to find something like what fisher price had. They other stuff is fine but pleeeease bring back the simple ABC tap for the little ones!

### 1/5 — requires much improvement

*2021-10-19, version 7.0.0*

i've had fisher price apps for my children for the past six years and this “latest update” stinks. the games and videos/songs have awful graphics and are glitchy to no end. it makes me incredibly sad that my newest addition wont be able to enjoy the fisher price app like her elder siblings did.
be better fisher price

### 1/5 — Nope

*2021-10-12, version 7.0.0*

Hate this update! It lost all the original game versions m son loved. He’s autistic and doesn’t understand why he can’t find the games he loved.

### 1/5 — Garbage since their “update”

*2021-09-01, version 6.1.41*

Why would you get rid of all your apps that kids loved? I get that you wanted to put all the apps under one “roof”, but why get rid of the games where the alphabet, shapes, numbers, etc… would fall down the screen while songs played?! My little boy with autism still grabs the ipad, looks for that game, then has a meltdown because it’s not there for him to use anymore. Obviously your company is more worried about saving some pennies than making your audience, the kids, happy. Terrible company that’s against kids with special needs, and have gotten rid of any FP toys in our home. You’ve definitely lost a customer for life.

### 1/5 — GARBAGE.

*2021-05-31, version 6.1.3*

Thank you so much for making my autistic 9 year old’s favorite activities crushed by developing this app. Why not just retain the old versions and give option for this new for those who choose to use it? The previous apps were better for little ones. Easier to navigate. More fun and less confusing. This new one is just a collection of crappy clips and games that aren’t nearly as interactive and is more of a sales pitch of buying your toys (which we already have plenty of.. but now I feel like I’m done buying them). During all the uncertainty of the pandemic when we finally were able
To replace his iPad he was so excited to play his favorite games. And now he is disappointed and frustrated and sad. So thanks for making an already difficult year more difficult for your “customers”. You don’t care if these games were beloved. You care about online platforms, marketing your products and clearly do not understand the needs or age appropriate development of children nor the sensitivities of those with special needs. Get the old games back or I’m sure you’ll see a lot of lost business. Thanks again.

### 1/5 — Replace amazing apps with a poor performing one

*2021-03-13, version 6.1.3*

The line of Fischer Price apps historically was amazing and used them with my niece and nephew once they turned 2. Was looking forward to the same for my own son and saw they replaced them with this app. Gave it a chance, but needless to say this is bad even when not compared to the old apps. Must use data / cellular to pull content, the interface for children is not seamless, and is a one size fits all approach to aged learning. I am so disappointed and plan to purchase non-Fischer price toys due to this (outside of little people). I hope this gets fixed as I would then support Fischer Price in the future.

### 1/5 — Bring back the old games!

*2021-03-04, version 6.1.3*

This app is pointless and useless now! When my two older kids were little, we used the app back when it was actually good and kept kids attention. My daughter had learned her shapes and colors through the app when she was a year old! I downloaded the app today for our youngest and found it’s totally different and they don’t have any interest in it at all. Please bring back the old game. It was shapes and colors and it sang a song after you tapped the shapes though and they danced around and it was on a little stage. It was so cute and my kids loved it. Super bummed it’s not on here anymore. You’d think with covid going on that brands would keep the apps and games that were favorites among consumers.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Would love to see more app games!

*2022-09-02, version 7.0.0*

My son absolutely loves this app. But unfortunately children do grow I do hope to see more fantastic app games for him in the mere future. However I do have one request since this was also a fisher price game. Do you happen to have fisherprice’s pet shop game back when it was on the pc? I played it with my son on the pc he loved it but thought the game was something he could touch on screen than use the computer mouse lol that game would be wonderful on the app devices. I hope it isn’t much trouble but if it is I guess will just stick with the pc version. But he did enjoy this app very much and I highly recommend this for new parents with children.

### 5/5 — The app is better.

*2021-11-23, version 7.0.0*

The devs have done a great job at bringing the beloved Puppy games back. They listened and continue to bring back old favorites and my kid loves the app. Good job guys!

### 5/5 — My little one loves this app!

*2021-10-03, version 7.0.0*

Great for my 3yo to learn shapes and colors! She loves the characters and it’s good to know it’s a safe digital app!

### 5/5 — Love this app!

*2021-10-01, version 7.0.0*

My 2 year old loves this app! She always asks for the “moo moo” game. Thanks for helping a mom keep her little one engaged and entertained!

### 5/5 — Great update

*2021-09-30, version 7.0.0*

The new games are great. Easy to use and great for me and my friends with young kids. Fun music too.

### 5/5 — Sing a long songs

*2021-09-30, version 7.0.0*

My son LOVES sing a long songs. It keeps him so busy and it’s great he’s learning too!!

### 5/5 — Love it!

*2021-09-27, version 7.0.0*

I love the colorful spunky characters!!

### 5/5 — Great for my son

*2021-01-31, version 6.1.3*

I had only gotten the Laugh and Learn Shapes and Colors app before the migration, so I don’t have experience with the previous suite of apps I see the complaints on. My son is 2 years 4 months and loves playing his “game”. The new app is awesome for him, with its kid mode letting him be in control and choose what he wants to do, and I can pass my phone back to him in the car and don’t mind hearing the song along songs on repeat. I love this app.

### 5/5 — Puppy apps by Homer

*2020-11-12, version 6.1.1*

The original Homer apps were great for my grandchildren! Even the update was very cute and appropriate for babies to 4 year olds. Now, even the updates do not work, although they are still offered on the App Store, all we get is a black screen! All my grandchildren loved them, it’s really a shame to discontinue something that works so well, it would be very appreciated if you could remedy this situation and return access to these apps. The newer available apps are preschool apps and very boring for the younger set. Thank you.

### 5/5 — Thank you for bringing the animals back!!!

*2020-10-03, version 6.1.0*

My toddler was playing with the app this morning, and I heard the familiar bear growl he was so sad to lose when the app was replaced (disguised as an update) with something completely different. The current app is so much bigger than the fun animal sounds and songs app, and they have FINALLY embedded that original app as one of the many fun activities. I went from giving one star for hijacking my sons favorite app, rather than creating a new, separate one, to five stars for this recent update making things right and returning what was lost. Well done, Fisher Price!
