Disappointing. Tuner displays upside down on my iPad, tunersucks. No useable free content, no way to audition for sale offerings. Pathetic.

I don’t recommend this app. I’m a beginner and cannot learn anything if the screen showing the strings keeps being covered buy a barely translucent screen that wants to sell me more. Eff off!!!

I so wanted to like this app. I was looking for something that would help me learn mandolin. This app certainly has the potential to do that. It shows the music notation, the tab and a fretboard picture and as it plays the notes you simply match the positions on your instrument. 
The app only comes with some basic arpeggios which could be useful but it would be nice to at least have some basic songs. 
The music scrolls across the screen quite jerkily, either a page or a bar or a note at a time. It would be better for me at least if it scrolled smoothly. The lessons also shift from 1st gear to overdrive too quickly. You can slow them down but you don't really get enough time at each speed.
The most unbelievably annoying 'feature' though is the messages that extra content is available. These pop up randomly even while you are trying to practice and obliterate the screen. Why do they do this? I know there is extra content available. I might even buy it if it was a more civilised app. As it is I will be deleting it.
