I’m in school to get my masters degree in nursing and I would like to potentially help the people of Palestine/lebanon/syria in the future, but at the very least I would like to understand the words they are speaking to the world. I completed to Duolingo course in Arabic in just under 3 months and I felt like it helped a lot with learning the alphabet, but not with pronunciation or conversation. Mondly is so amazing in all the ways Duolingo is lacking. I am especially impressed and super grateful that they’ve included a whole, multi lesson, course for healthcare professionals!! It’s exactly what I wanted/needed. I like going through the lessons with the Latin alphabet until I understand the lesson materials, then I go through and do them again and again with the Arabic alphabet until I feel confident about those words/phrases in Arabic. So amazing!!!
