### 3/5 — Good but Glitchy

*2026-04-11, version 1.0*

I appreciate this app and the format. I tend to use it less than I would due to the app randomly closing while in a lesson. When I reopen it my progress is lost. So I get stuck.

### 4/5 — Progress Save

*2022-03-01*

It would be nice to create an account to save progress. So that if the app was deleted and redownloaded, one could resume where they left off.

That would help too if someone uses two devices and had progress sync instead progressing differently.

### 4/5 — Great app but some minor issues

*2021-08-09, version 1.0*

I think this app os great and I love the logo. It’s very cute and it makes it easy for me to want to study Arabic and use the app.

There are some issues with some questions though. I will write the answer for some of the questions and it will tell me that my answer is incorrect even though it’s not. I usually check a few times to try and one out where I have made the mistake. It’s not just with the Arabic words/phrases, it’s the same with the English ones. I will type the correct answer and the app will tell me my answer is incorrect even if it’s exactly the same as what the answer is given to me by the app. This makes it quite difficult to progress as you cannot unlock the next level without first passing the one you are up to.

Outside of this, I am really enjoying this app.

### 2/5 — Good but something that has to change

*2021-07-05*

Well, I downloaded this app 3-2 days ago, and I think it is a pretty well app. The problem is that I have some answers correct but it says its wrong and I really don’t know what happened to it. And that’s a shame…Otherwise, it is a pretty good app. Not that good but a little bit. If they update the problem that I wrote it will be a 4/5.

### 4/5 — Good value

*2020-10-22, version 1.0*

Very good app, better than Duolingo and Rosetta Stone but we can only cover the basics. Needs more content to progress to advanced skills.
No sound while phone is on silent /dnd - was easily rectified!
For basic levels looking for a good price I would recommend this.

### 4/5 — Amazing App

*2020-06-08*

Amazing app with curated content. I’m picking up the words quickly. Although i’d like to suggest that, the apps lays way too much emphasis on the fatah, damah, ksrah etc. when in real life it’s not that important to get it right to the minute detail. Because of that, i’m unable to get to the next level. Please fix this issue and make sure the answers are acceptable even without them. thank you! 💛

### 2/5 — Says you have the wrong answer when you actually get it right

*2020-02-28*

I wish I could use this app because it seems like a really good app but it keeps saying I am writing things wrong when I have the exact same answer as the correct answer. So why exactly am I being told im wrong ? Also my husband is arab and has told me I am writing it correct so obviously its not me but a glitch in the app. What a shame

### 3/5 — Good with a complaint

*2020-02-05, version 1.0*

My complaint is that, when there is an extra character (space) after my translations, it won’t accept them. I wish that the space didn’t affect the answer.

Flash cards and basic vocab. It’s not enough on its own, but it’s better than the other apps for Arabic i.e. Duolingo. Duolingos Arabic course is terrible.

### 5/5 — Very hejpful. Highly recommend

*2019-11-05, version 1.0*

I have been studying Arabic for a few months. I bought Araby a few days ago and am finding the app very helpful.

The lessons are formulated to build a good foundation. I am organizing my notes and future training to mimic this template

### 2/5 — Not optimized for the iPhone X, XS (Max), and Xr

*2019-09-15, version 1.0*

please optimize this app, oh and this app needs a major revamp.

### 3/5 — Its a good supplementary resource

*2019-08-23, version 1.0*

The app definitely could use some improvement but it gives a goos starting point to start learning Arabic. I wish the app was easier to use.

### 3/5 — Ok

*2019-08-19*

So I’m Arabic and of course I know them all but he one problem is that you have to have the exact lines above and under which the Arabic keyboard doesn’t actually have all of them which I kept getting them all wrong. I’m 11 but this thing is actually bad. But allhamdullah. انا ما فرحت يوم القيتو هاذه ولا استفدتو بيا شي هونا. Sorry if I made any spelling mistakes but what that says is I wasn’t happy with the app the moment I saw it and I didn’t learn any thing from this app. Happy Late Eid Mubarak 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Scores wrong

*2021-11-03*

Liked the app at first but it keeps scoring me wrong when I have the exact same answer as it. So annoying.

### 1/5 — Horrible App

*2021-03-20*

I downloaded this app to learn Arabic, and although I found the first few levels to be decent, I bought the full version- only for the money to be taken out of my bank account, but I still only had the trial version. I contacted the email provided numerous times, but to no avail. It is a scam. You’ll have better luck downloading a free PDF text book online, at least then you save your money and effort. Deleted the app and I will never recommend it to anybody.

### 1/5 — It’s ok

*2020-07-22, version 1.0*

I paid for it thinking the other modules would work but they didn’t. Won’t let me go paste lesson one. Also, the app is advanced as far as being able to use the marks by the letters. And I can’t get ahold of the app makers

### 1/5 — This is the WROST app EVER!

### 1/5 — No Sound!

*2019-12-31, version 1.0*

I can’t get any audio and can’t find anyway besides here to report issue. Seems like a good app but not functional for me at all.

### 1/5 — It’s not working!

*2019-12-26, version 1.0*

I tried the app for a few days and it was fine but today it had no sound. And I thought that if I paid for it it would work but it didn’t. Please fix it or give me a refund.

### 1/5 — Scam

*2019-11-02, version 1.0*

I paid for the full version so I can advance and do other levels but i'm not allowed to do anything but the first level. I only get 4 wrong on the first level and I can't advance. This for real is a scam.

### 1/5 — Sounds does not work

*2019-05-29, version 1.0*

I speak Arabic but I was trying to check this app for a friend who wants to learn Arabic and there is no sound. But overall the idea seems good app

### 1/5 — No sound

*2019-03-29, version 1.0*

How are you supposed to learn a Language if you can’t hear the pronunciation of the alphabet?

### 1/5 — Do not buy

*2019-03-23, version 1.0*

Do not buy I got ripped off of my 6$

It’s so easy it’s not as hard as people make it

### 5/5 — Best Arabic learning app in the App Store.

*2021-02-18*

Duolingo is awful for learning Arabic. This app is amazing and FREE. It has such an amazing intro to the alphabet and actually explains what every accent/symbol does to a sound. So good. I’m super excited to learn more. It’s completely free which I really appreciate. No annoying ads. SO UNDERRATED.

### 5/5 — It’s ok

*2020-05-02, version 1.0*

### 5/5 — Great app recommend it!

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2020-04-12, version 1.0*

My parents are from Syria and taught me Arabic but slowly I lost my skills and needed to practice. I scoured the App Store for Arabic teaching apps but this was by far the best free app. I recommend it over duolingo because it actually makes scene and it teaches you the words. Five stars

### 5/5 — Awesome!

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2020-03-29, version 1.0*

As a student of the Arabic language this app was very effective in helping me. I learned more from the app than I needed to know for class. I cannot wait until they come out with more...😎I am very satisfied

### 5/5 — Best Arabic app

*2019-12-27*

This is a seriously really good app for learning Arabic, much better than drops and duolingo. It’s doesn’t and have bug problems or ads and it’s free! It’s has good pronunciation, grammar, the basics, lessons, tests, flash cards, and you can even use if with out wifi!! I hope they never take it down, it’s a really good app which genuinely wants to teach Arabic and not trying to dish money or attention. It’s practices reading, writing, and I just really like the app!! شكرانلك!

### 5/5 — Excellent course

*2019-12-16*

This course teaches vocabulary, pronouns, plurals, and how to conjugate verbs all within the first 20 words. It also stores the words you have already learned in a list, and creates flashcards for self study. During the quizzes, you are asked to write the words in Arabic.
