## What is Learn Chinese Flashcards HSK?

Make the HSK 1–6 vocabulary stick. Learn Chinese Flashcards HSK turns every word of the six levels into a flashcard you work through at your own pace: the word first, then a tap to reveal its pinyin and meaning, then the word spoken aloud. Everything included, no ads.

WHY IT WORKS
Recall before reveal. The card shows the characters and nothing else. You say what it means — or admit you can't — and only then tap Reveal for the pinyin and the English meaning, and Play Audio for the word in clear, standard Mandarin. That small effort before the answer is what makes a word stay. Back and forth through the deck with Prev and Next until a card stops needing the reveal.

I like this app for a quick learning session and/or review of characters. I’m currently learning to read and speak Chinese using Duolingo (very good for Chinese) and I am using Chinese keyboard on my iPad and PC, so the the characters look pretty different than how these look. These look like drawn by hand with a brush. This makes a good contrast and adds to learning. I wish I could keep showing the same set of characters repeatedly until I have all of them memorized before I move on to the next set. I would also like to be able to shuffle each set. Sound quality could be a bit clearer. Not sure it’s worth the amount I paid, though.
