Been trying to sign up but it keeps saying change your password and try again

I installed both lingq apps (the main one) and this one for learning Chinese. It’s so confusing. Which one do I need?

The free trial of 7 days will automatically charge you for a year’s subscription automatically. I tried to change it so after 7 days it would charge me for a monthly subscription. Instead, it just charged me the monthly subscription immediately. Deceptive business practice and I would not use this app again. Use Du Chinese or another Chinese-focused app that is honest about how they plan on charging you.

Using line for Chinese is good if you already have a base foundation, otherwise I imagine it to be too overwhelming because of the Chinese character system. Some of the characters are incorrect and don’t match the audio however it’s mostly correct.

I’ve an input-based English tutor to mostly Chinese students for going on two decades.  I’ve studied Chinese with all kinds of apps and in all kinds of classes.  LingQ is the real deal: not just gap-fill, cloze, or translation like Duolingo.  Acquiring Chinese through stories near my level has gotten me out of my long-time intermediate rut. Unfortunate but the app apart from it’s usefulness, users should take note at anytime if you are overcharged as I’ve been the past couple months you will 0 support from the LingQ staff. Very poor customer/user support for something so basic, so I’ll drop the app.
