## What is Learn Farsi?

Say something in Persian today!

You can drill words for a year and still not be able to speak. You also need to know verbs and how they conjugate, letters and how they connect to form words and sentences, and the nerve to say it out loud. 'Learn Farsi' covers all of it, and the only thing it asks is that you come back tomorrow.

Over 100 lessons, and every one of them a conversation you will need: greeting your partner's parents, ordering in a cafe, asking where something is. You hear it, you say it back, and the app tells you how close you got. Start from zero, no script required, and no ads.

1. LESSONS BUILT ON CONVERSATION
Learn Farsi is a structured CEFR course. Every human-curated lesson runs the same arc: keywords, then a spoken dialogue, then exercises for vocabulary, grammar and speaking with AI pronunciation feedback. The dialogues are in everyday Persian, the register used at the kitchen table rather than the one in textbooks, with slang, proverbs and small talk, because that is what a conversation at home is made of. Each lesson unlocks a can-do skill with the date you earned it, so progress reads as "I can order in a cafe" instead of a number going up. A1 is complete and A2 is in active development.

2. WORDS THAT STAY LEARNED
8,100+ words, each with audio, transliteration, images and example sentences. Spaced repetition tracks every word separately and brings it back at the moment you are about to lose it. Your 'Daily Routine' rebuilds itself each morning around exactly those words, drawing on 18 exercise types you can switch on or off. Five minutes or an hour, it fits the time you have to learn a new language.

3. YOU DO NOT NEED THE SCRIPT TO START
Every word, every dialogue line and every exercise comes with transliteration in the Latin alphabet. You can learn to speak and understand Persian without reading a single letter of it. It is there when you want it, not before.

4. WRITE PERSIAN WORDS BY HAND
Not 'tap it'. Write it. Start with the alphabet: 39 lessons, each letter drawn on screen for you to trace, then write from memory with your finger. Then the letters join up and you'll soon write whole words. The app scores the shape, the dots and whether it is readable, on your device. The stroke guides come from recordings of real handwriting rather than font outlines, so what you learn to draw is what Persian looks like on paper. Your handwriting has its own review schedule, separate from your vocabulary.

5. READ WHEN YOU ARE READY
Every learning path carries an optional reading lesson. Skip it and nothing breaks. Take it and you read the conversations you have already learned to say. Optional at every level.

6. 850+ VERBS, FULLY CONJUGATED
Every common tense, conjugation tables and example sentences. Persian conversation runs on verbs, and these are the ones it runs on.

FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY
Child Mode gives kids a simpler interface and a filtered word list. A parent and a child can each follow their own path on one device, on one subscription.

WHY THIS APP EXISTS
A husband learning Farsi to talk to his wife's family. Two parents wanting to raise their child in both languages. Built by one, voiced by the other. If Persian matters to you personally rather than as a hobby, that is who this was made for.
