Sehr nützlich und hilfreich. Gut abgestimmt auf die Belange der Lernenden. Kritik übe ich an der manchmal extrem schnellen Sprache von einigen Leuten.
Ansonsten bin ich sehr zufrieden!

…. given it isn’t cheap I would expect a slightly higher level of polish. Give us landscape mode, for instance, and make it easier to have a list of favourites rather than the playlist function, that doesn’t really work. Make it easier to import podcasts direct from a phone please - currently I need to download onto my computer at home, then import over a browser - which I therefore literally never do due to the inconvenience.

Having said all that, for content slightly above my level, it’s much easier using this than even a kindle, due to the speed of translation and highlighting function.

LingQ makes French much more fun to learn. The stats provided that tell me how many words I know, how many more words I need to know in order to consider myself reaching the next level (intermediate 1 in my case), how many times I have listened to each lesson or how long I’ve read all make me realize how much progress I’ve made and continue to make. It’s just a really great learning tool.

The app is functional but many of the texts which are audio transcriptions have errors which makes some texts difficult to read for no good reason at times. This wouldn’t be an issue if there was a feature for reporting grammatical errors and transcription mistakes on the app, just sadly I see no such feature.

**Developer response:** Maybe you accessed some lessons imported by users. I suggest you start with LingQ's own material, and explore other lessons over time. To know which ones are from us, you can find it written in the begginning of the lessons: Shared by LingQ_Support.

Warum muss da Englisch mit drin sein, wenn ich deutsch spreche und Französisch lernen will? So macht es keinen Spaß.

An sich ist die App ganz ok gestaltet der Aufbau ist auch ganz schön.Aber ich würde mir Wünschen das die App auch auf Deutsch ist(Aufgabenstelung,Übersetzung).Außerdem würde ich mir wünschen das man zu den Aufgaben Fragen stellen könnte, klar muss man nicht sofort antworten das wäre dann auch für ein selber ziemlich nervig.und wenn überhaupt wenn mein Vorschlag eingeführt wird das man auch seine Frage innerhalb 2-3Tage eine Antwort bekommen.

Ps:Tut mir leid wenn es eingebildet klingt

Like cmon now for a beginner you get to 20 words in the 1st sentence.  I even misclicked and got a basic word counted and then I couldn’t remove it.  Trial should maybe last more than 20 seconds

J’ai souscrit à une version d’essai gratuite de cette application, mais je n’ai plus pu accéder à mon identifiant Apple pour annuler l’abonnement avant la fin de la période d’essai. Le mot de passe était correct, mais l’accès était bloqué. Curieusement, j’ai pu me reconnecter avec le même mot de passe juste après que 147 € aient été prélevés pour un abonnement annuel. Je trouve cela très suspect. Je vais essayer d’annuler ce paiement via ma banque. Faites attention aux essais gratuits.

Ich verstehe nicht, warum diese App so gelobt wird.
Absolut unbrauchbar!
Was kann diese App, wie wird sie benutzt ???
Keine Erläuterungen dazu, keine intuitive Nutzung möglich.
Dafür wird man penetrant mit Spam zugemüllt!

**Developer response:** We’re sorry you had a poor experience with us. LingQ can initially feel overwhelming because it's a highly sophisticated "choose your journey" tool. You do not have to use all functions at first, or even at all.

I really wanted to like this but its so confusing.  Its hard to work out how to navigate around and too cluttered.  I wanted a more listening based app to run along side duolingo.  I think this could be good but it needs stream lining and refining

I bought a premium subscription but it seems it isn’t really. You have to buy more points just to read the second chapter of a book that is supposedly- I had assumed- part of the expensive subscription. 

Good material but a bit violent on the money grabbing. 

I’m stuck with the subscription and my access is not ‘unlimited’.

Ich benütze LingQ seit mehr als einem Jahr, um mein Französisch zu verbessern. LingQ bietet eine Vielzahl von Texten unterschieldichen Schweregrads, die sehr unterschiedliche Themen behandeln. Da ich nach dem Prinzip vorgehe, nur das zu lesen, was mich interessiert - mich interessiert vieles - bin ich bei LingQ gut aufgehoben. Ich kann aich experimentieren, dh Texte lesen, die mein Niveau überschreiten, um zu sehen, was ich noch an Sprachkenntnissen erwerben muss. Was ich etwas schade finde, ist, das die Texte nicht besonders aktuell sind, doch das ist nicht wirklich problematisch. Dann gibt es Texte, die schwer zu verstehen sind, weil der Sprecher einen schweren Akzent hat oder weil er zu schnell spricht. Für mich, und ich glaube für viele auch, ist „hören&verstehen“ eine Hauptschwierigkeit beim Französischlernen. (Schneligkeit, das Verschlucken von Lauten, Verlan und Argot, die vielen idiomatischen Wendungen mit „en, y, c‘est“, die man kaum mitkriegt). Die ist nicht wirklich gelöst bei LingQ. Doch das bieten die anderen Sites, die Sprachen anbieten auch nicht an. Ich habe dazu einige Ideen, doch ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob sie im Rahmen von LingQ gelöst werden können. Jeder ist in dieser Hinsicht auf sich selbst angewiesen und muss seinen eigenen Weg finden, damit fertig zu werden.

J’ai continué à me progresser le français avec LingQ depuis 1 mois, j’avoue qu’il est très bien cette application, il y a plein de nouvelles vidéos chaque jours suivre le thème que l’on a choisi. En plus, il peut traduire toute de suite de vocabulaires sur le texte, c’est mieux pour comprendre et éviter de perdre le temps à chercher de les traduire…
