## What is Learn French | Speakit.tv?

Learn French by watching.

Every Speakit.tv course is built as video lessons. A native speaker says a phrase, you see it written on screen, and you see it in the language you already speak — all at the same time.

YOU HEAR IT, YOU SAY IT
French is the language people give up on, and it is almost always the spelling that does it: endings nobody pronounces, words that run into each other, vowels that look nothing like they sound. None of that is here. You learn the phrases people actually say, the way you learned your first language — by hearing them and repeating them.

WHAT YOU SEE ON SCREEN
• The French phrase, written as you hear it
• The same phrase in your language
• Replay any phrase, as many times as you like

BUILT FOR YOUR LANGUAGE
The same French, explained in the language you already speak — English, Spanish, Arabic and more. One method, every language, and you can switch at any time.

FROM SINGLE WORDS TO FULL PHRASES
This is not a word list. You start with single words and move up to the sentences people really use:
• Shopping, food and ordering
• Hotels, travel and directions
• Asking for help and directions
• Greetings, numbers, days and time
• Small talk and everyday conversation

LEARN FROM NATIVE SPEAKERS
Every phrase is spoken by someone who grew up with the language, clearly and unhurried, with subtitles on every line. You pick up the right accent from the first lesson.

SHORT LESSONS, REAL PROGRESS
Self-contained video lessons you can finish in one sitting. Pick up where you left off, and work through a course at your own pace.

ONE SUBSCRIPTION, EVERY COURSE
Full access to every video course on Speakit.tv — on your iPhone, iPad and the web.
