### 4/5 — Amazing

*2025-10-21, version 2.0*

Absolutely love this app! Going to Morocco tomorrow so perfect for learning French. Love it. Very fun way to learn new languages, kids love it so much. My eldest daughter is 7 and is learning so many new words in French. I love this too I am 25 years of age and am still struggling whereas my 4 year old son, he is learning the animals and lots of other things due to this app. Thank you so much for taking your time to read this. Xoxo🤗🥰❤️

### 4/5 — Not bad

*2025-02-06*

I think this game is very educational and makes learning French more simple and fun then it normally would, but I have a few concerns. At first I was only allowed to do 1 level but then it told me I could unlock levels 2-6 by rating it. But when I reached level 6 it didn’t allow me to do more levels but I know I could have just paid for it but I don’t like to pay for games. Fortunately and unfortunately the game crashed right when I ran out of levels which I wanted to practice the levels. Other than that the game is really good, fun and educational.

### 4/5 — Lingo Arcade Reveiw

*2020-10-02, version 2.0*

This app is realy good for begginers learning french. I love the repetition. Maybe there should be more time when you play the games. I also think there should be more activities in one level.
Finally I think this is a great app for kids and I would recommend this app to a friend.

### 4/5 — Fun but a lot of ads

*2020-08-25*

It’s a fun to go over basic vocabulary but there are a lot of ads!

### 4/5 — It’s good...but

*2020-06-07, version 2.0*

It’s a really good principal - but a little too easy - as most answers are obvious when you get the multiple choice. Would be great as you go up the levels if the multiple choice had answers that were similar so you had to think before pressing. Also with the writing one - LOVE the spelling - as you really have to think - but only available if the answer is one word - so as you get higher the words are all ready there - you are really just picking the order. Too easy... if we can’t type out the letters - then at least put some wrong words in the mix so you have to think about it. And some wrong spellings... so you are really learning how things are spelt and also put in some wrong verb conjugations - for example ils joue jouent -etc this is where most of us fall down with conjugations and spelling so would really like the writing game to be much harder and multiple choice answers less obvious. Otherwise a good game.

### 4/5 — Great app!

*2020-02-01*

Love the app! The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I believe that it impossible to be perfect. I still really love the app. I am learning French in school and this really helps! Thank you for bringing this wonderful app into the world. I hope that it helps all kids as much as it has helped me learn French!

### 4/5 — Engaging

*2019-10-10*

Engaging, but too easy. Needs wider variety, perhaps higher levels are more interesting and challenging.

### 4/5 — Interesting but easy

*2019-06-20*

It’s very fun and interesting but it’s very easy also.
I want something more challenging also more fun and interesting.

### 3/5 — Too many ads

*2019-02-17*

I like it but so many ads to even test it out. Do ads go away if I purchased all the levels?

I also cannot get a good sense if ok for intermediate learners since level 1 is so basic. So not sure I want to buy without knowing what type of more advanced content it has.

### 4/5 — So far, so good

*2018-06-06, version 2.0*

With only one level it is difficult to know how well the app pans out, but so far, I get the point of the quick-fire games. As you play them, the words, sounds and pictures become associated with each other. Then you realise that the association between them has become automatic, just like your own native language.
I hope the higher levels give a wide range of vocabulary, if so, the app will prove useful

### 4/5 — I love it

*2018-06-05*

I love it because after u play a game it tells u what to work on and there games

### 5/5 — Fun

*2018-04-13*

Great way to learn and it's fun.

### 3/5 — Not too bad

*2018-03-15, version 2.0*

Gets a bit too repetitive and takes a long time to move up levels.

### 5/5 — So Far, So Good!

*2018-03-14*

I’m enjoying Level One of this app so far. I especially like the drill exercise, where the player has to choose from the correct singular or plural noun, and match it with the photo. Can’t wait to give Level Two a try!

### 5/5 — Excellent app

*2018-02-12, version 2.0*

Simple but effective

### 3/5 — Ok

*2018-02-08, version 2.0*

App is good but lots of adverts and have to make purchases very soon

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — M

*2017-01-15*

No sound.

### 1/5 — In the app shows 99 cents for all access

*2016-11-01, version 1.0*

But when you try to purchase switches to $4.99. Wonder how many people got tricked into paying x5 by accident...

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2015-08-06, version 1.0*

Poor 😟

### 1/5 — Extremely unstable. Unhelpful support staff.

*2013-09-11, version 1.0*

I reached level 11 and then the app crashed. Afterwards, it crashed on opening within seconds every time. I contacted support, and the rather snotty staff member told me to delete it and reinstall it. They claimed my progress would be retained so long as I had logged in as I had done. (It only has Facebook login, by the way.) This was not the case. I logged back in, but the levels I had completed were still marked as new and uncompleted. I was only able to resume where I had left off because I remembered where I had left off and after I performed the "restore purchases" function in the settings, it allowed me to open any lesson I pleased. It still crashes after roughly half the exercises I complete now, and does not retain the progress from any exercise it crashes after.

Extremely dissatisfied.

Aside from the support staff and the instability, the app is a good app. The accent is good, the audio is very clear and enunciated, and the photos are appropriate. The problems are of such severity that I cannot give it more than one star.

### 2/5 — Very basic with lots of ads

*2019-10-09, version 2.0*

I only downloaded the free version, French level is very basic and you can’t change without purchasing an upgrade. Ads pop up during game play and afterwards - very annoying. There is no way to determine if the app is worth buying because you can’t change the level of French that suits your vocabulary:(

### 2/5 — Ok

*2017-05-26, version 2.0*

Kinda boring

### 2/5 — A bit slow

*2014-08-25, version 1.0*

Very basic

### 3/5 — Educational but

*2020-05-19*

It’s great for kids. I wish I could figure out how to make a purchase to get rid of the ads. Have to delete and really didn’t want to.

### 3/5 — Great App where is the sound?

*2020-01-25*

To me it’s me missing audio pronunciation of the foreign word. iOS 13 last update 😠

### 3/5 — Arcade sound irritating

*2019-09-22*

Love the app! Would have given it 5 stars- just don’t like that I don’t have the option to silence the noise after I answer a question. It’s ok at first, but it becomes very irritating quickly

*2018-06-18*

Great app!

### 5/5 — Seems good so far

*2018-04-24, version 2.0*

Seems like a good app, easy to use and navigate, content is repetitive but a good way to get the words to sink in. All in all, seems good so far to me.
