## What is Learn German by Reading?

Learn German the way you actually read — one word, one story at a time.

Blatt turns real, engaging stories into your German lesson. Every text is leveled to match where you are, so you're always reading something that stretches you without leaving you lost.

KEY FEATURES

• Leveled stories, A1 to C2 — the same levels used by Goethe-Institut and telc, so you always know exactly how far you've come.
• Tap any word to translate it — no dictionary, no switching apps. Meaning appears right where you're reading.
• Listen while you read — every story comes with word-by-word narration audio, so you build a real ear for German alongside your reading.
• Save words, build your vocabulary — anything you tap gets saved automatically, with quick review games to make new words stick.
• Daily streaks — a few minutes a day compounds, and Blatt keeps that progress visible.
• Pick your own topics — travel, culture, science, history and more.

Blatt is free to start, with a growing library of stories, listening, and vocabulary tools. Premium unlocks the full library.

Whether you're studying for a Goethe or telc exam, reconnecting with family roots, or just want German to finally click, Blatt turns reading into the fastest way to learn it.

*** Please be aware that in order to unlock all stories, you need to be subscribed to one of the premium plans. ***
