### 4/5 — Plz tell me this is 100% real

*2023-08-01, version 5.9.3*

And it’s not no lie making me say Radom stuff

### 3/5 — Almost good.

*2018-01-10, version 5.5.1*

I’ve used many language learning apps and while I like this one my biggest disappointment is the subscription based service. I’d rate the app much higher if it were at the least available to purchase at a one off payment. Again I do like the app and the general basic lesson structure, decent interface, however there are far better apps in the store that are more comprehensive, cheaper and don’t require monthly payments.

### 4/5 — Great app

*2017-08-20, version 5.4.3*

I give four stars because it is a great app but you to buy different app to do some lesson.

### 4/5 — This app is great

*2017-02-12, version 5.4.3*

I think it's a great app. I rated 4 star because it teaches you only some words not all and no sentences. Otherwise great app.

### 3/5 — It has potential

*2015-09-24, version 5.3.10*

The idea is sound though it is far too expensive for it content.
The verbs available are just the very basic. The app works well but it's usage is limited due to its content. What a pity.

### 3/5 — Full of errors

*2014-11-06, version 5.0.6*

In the grammar exercises, it is impossible to distinguish between "sie", as in she and "sie" as in they. Also capital S "Sie" many of the verb tenses are incorrect. I am a fairly novice learner, but I know these errors are in this app. so I wouldn't trust it that much. I found this out after I spent $10 for the passport. I suggest Babbel as an alternative far superior. It costs more, but it's worth it.

### 5/5 — Very helpful

*2014-10-12, version 5.0.6*

This is a good review app. It has good graphics, UI and pronunciations.

The basic vocabulary is well chosen, in my opinion.

### 4/5 — German

*2014-10-02, version 5.0.6*

I found this app helpful in revising phrases particularly as the audio was there to show proper pronunciation

### 5/5 — Great app

*2014-09-12, version 5.0.6*

I think it's a great app. It has phrases, quizzes, audio, and games you can play to practice. If ppl need more than that, then they should just get a teacher instead of using an app as a shortcut to learn. Learning is just based off of repetition. The more you practice, the easier the memory will become. Overall, I'll say again, it's a great app. Two thumbs up👍👍

### 4/5 — Kens

*2014-08-01, version 5.0.6*

Very easy to follow

### 2/5 — I can't believe this has such great reviews

*2014-07-07, version 5.0.6*

This program has terrible support. It costs $10 for the passport, which isn't much, but then you realize the low quality of the following lessons. Things like four options for the imperative tense where two possible answers are hyphens, but only one is correct.

Really? As a language teacher, I'm insulted. What a lack of attention to detail.

Fix your program, or don't charge for it.

I asked for help from support twice. No answer. I'm appalled. You charge a price tag and then don't answer customer questions? Not cool.

Get it together guys.

### 3/5 — Verb quizzes are weak

*2014-05-13, version 5.0.6*

Can't discern sie (she) from sie (they) because no sentence context is given. Typos in the text describing cases leads me to wonder what else may be wrong.

### 4/5 — Gut

*2014-04-23, version 5.0.6*

Buena app

### 5/5 — So pleased

*2014-03-12, version 5.0.6*

This app is very user friendly. The pronunciation function is so easy to understand and replicate. 👌

### 4/5 — Very good German learning tool

*2014-01-30, version 5.0.6*

This German learning program progresses through from easy to tough by making learning fun. Repetition is the key to success.

### 4/5 — Cool app

*2014-01-25, version 5.0.5*

Great if you want to learn the basics a good app but you have to pay for some if it which I don't like

### 5/5 — Great app

*2014-01-16, version 5.0.5*

For novice students to advance students you learn little by little !

### 1/5 — Stupid

*2021-11-15, version 5.8.1*

I NEED TO LEARN GERMAN
THIS APP DID NOTHING
ITS STUPID
DONT WASTE YOUR TIME
IM NEVER GETTING THIS AGAIN
ITS STUPID

### 1/5 — Pangea Passport.

*2015-09-27, version 5.3.10*

I agree with the other author- this App is a Ripp-off,it is from WILLIAMS software,(not a German company), and all they do is try to soak you for more money.
The App is 66 megabytes, yet does nothing.
I actually only bought the license because I was being bullied by APPLE (a Chinese company), because if your payment fails, they lock up the App store until you hand over the money.
Hey Apple, remember when I paid you for "expedited shipping"? You forgot to add that the product was being sent from Shenzen,China-which is your REAl headquarters.
Sick of being bullied by Billionaire Corporations (Walmart,Apple,Microsoft).

### 1/5 — Not great

*2014-11-16, version 5.1.2*

it let's you learn hello/goodbye, numbers and family, but about seventy percent of the app is locked until you pay to open it.

### 1/5 — You need a stupid passport to do everything

*2013-09-08, version 4.3.1*

I would like to go to Germany but I need to learn how to speak it first. I'm not going to pay $10 for a stupid passport

### 1/5 — Purchased but doesn't function.

*2013-08-24, version 4.3*

I purchased this, but it doesn't work. Always says the server is having problems when I try to load it. I click on purchase, it then tells me I already purchased it and click "ok" to download again. At his point it says the server is having problems. Should I ask for my money back?

### 1/5 — Rip off

*2013-01-11, version 4.1*

The $10 in-app purchase is supposed to work for all the developer's apps, and online too, but it only works in the one app you purchase it in. I would have spent $2 for one app, not $10. I tried to contact the developer many times since I purchased it 20 days ago, and received no response. BUYER　ＢＥＷＡＲＥ

### 1/5 — $9.99 ?????? What a waste!

*2013-01-11*

In good faith I purchased a FREE app that gives such limited-in-size-and-depth material. To make up for that I purchased the in-App Pangaea Passport for $9.99 to access all the lessons but realized they get you to keep buying over and over. Sleazeful developers and Apple should be ashamed! Every time I try to access additional lessons in the beginner, intermediate, or advanced levels I keep getting a window message telling me I have to purchase the Pangaea Passport. What for? It doesn't work
all. A real waste! What does one do to get his/her money back?
A letter to the state attorney general and the commissioner of state consumer affairs might do the trick or, at least, make me feel better. If you ask me "Wie Geht's?" My answer is "Nicht sehr gut!"

### 1/5 — Taster only

*2012-09-09, version 4.0*

Most lessons only available after buying the £7 in-app 'passport'.

### 1/5 — Eww..

*2012-09-09, version 4.0*

Suckish. Installed it twice, never opened once. Don't install it.

### 1/5 — Not Great

*2011-02-17, version 1.0.2*

Nothing more than a word & phrase dictionary and soundbank. Repetitive multiple choice does not really aid learning. Spend a few pounds more and get an integrated learning package.

It's good!

### 5/5 — Best Language app developer

*2015-06-15, version 5.2.1*

This developer has a great format. The way they categorize everything is superb, and you'll not find the explanations of the language building blocks such as 'accusative prepositions', anywhere else. Also, the phrases and words are recorded as one

### 5/5 — Usefull!!!

*2015-03-23, version 5.2.1*

This app is the BEST! I never knew languages could be so easy to learn until I saw this app. It's like they force info into your brain and you won't forget anything you Learned, even if the last time you used the app was a long time ago!!

### 5/5 — Amazing!

*2015-03-11, version 5.2.1*

I'm currently learning German and I look a 3 month break but when I came back to looking at the beginning German words I remembered how to say it all of it. This is a great learning tool. I strongly suggest it.

### 5/5 — Diese app ist sehr wunderbar!

*2015-02-25, version 5.1.95*

I spoke a little bit of German several years ago and lost my knowledge due to lack of use. This app has not only helped me to regain my German knowledge, but to surpass it! It is a great app for learning the language and it includes everything you need to know. The full app is available with an in-app purchase of $10. It sounds like alot, but it is totally worth it. I highly recommend this app for learning German. Fünf Sterne! (Five stars!)

### 5/5 — Love it!

*2014-11-07, version 5.1*

I love this app, it's easy, the lessons are simple to digest, and I feel like I can teach myself with no problem...now if only I had some German speaking friends!
