There is no teaching, no methodology. E.g “to open” is לפתוח and not so much לפקוח. It’s not free, you got a discount added to your purchase. That is the problem, and if you spend your time and energy not advertising that the only way you can get ANY training on your app unless you purchase the subscription based service your provide then that to would be deceiving to those that look into your app. Your description says to “for full training you’d have to purchase the subscription” which is false I downloaded the app and everything I clicked on took me to purchasing page for the subscription. Please just be honest, it’s not hard ### 1/5 — READ BEFORE DOWNLOADING *2024-08-18, version 5.6* I have just downloaded the app and got paid walled. To access the app you must pay for the program. If you charge then say you charge in the beginning allowing people to make a choice if we want to buy or not!! I was unable to open or download any of the selections on this app in order to get the FREE flash cards or FREE Hebrew dictionary you advertise so I deleted the app!! This is a scam!! Don’t download!! Unless you want to pay $12 & up just to get basics! 😠👎🏼👎🏼 ### 3/5 — Basic learning *2024-07-20, version 5.5* I think it is a great app to learn the Hebrew ABC and the different ways to write it and a very good tool to increase your vocabulary, but if you want to learn to speak Hebrew, this app is not an easy way to achieve that goal. Without mentioning grammatical rules like identifying the type of verbs and their roots, it is a great challenge and very hard for a beginner to learn by this app without looking for that fundamental information from other sources. ### 1/5 — Пробный режим *2024-06-01* Нужен пробный режим хотябы пару дней, я не собираюсь платить за кота в мешке. Как появится тогда изменю оценку на соотв-ую реальной ситуации. **Developer response:** Такой режим есть - первые семь дней бесплатно. ### 1/5 — Сломали приложение *2024-05-31* Последнее обновление полностью сломало приложение. Во первых пропали слова «на повторение». Вернее теперь у меня все пройденные слова вывалены в общую кучу на повторение. Во вторых после правильного или неправильного ответа слова не произносятся. В третьих, убрали режим «теста». Теперь отвечать на вопрос можно исключительно вводя слова по буквам. Отписываюсь… **Developer response:** Нам очень жаль, что вам не понравилось обновление :( Однако слова на повторение никуда не пропали - на главной странице собранны слова из всех разделов, которые уже пора повторять, но вы также можете выбрать опцию повторения из конкретного раздела (если какие-то из слов уже созрели для повторения). Вы можете изменить настройки, чтобы повторять слова каждый день. Режим теста так же никуда не пропал - в приложении есть разные типы заданий и они отличаются по сложности. Задание с вариантами ответа вы получаете когда только начинаете учить слово, после нескольких успешных повторений задание усложняется и вам необходимо собрать слово по буквам - это сделаешь специально, чтобы вы лучше запомнили слово. Couple with the other reviews that state that you have to put cards and are forced to subscribe makes this app duplicitous. Perhaps they gather information to then sell to data brokers and make more money off of you? I’m not giving my card details to see if I like how an app works. I understand needing to make money for providing a service but maybe offer a few lessons of the alphabet and a couple beginner lessons free before the paywall? Yeah you’re not technically doing anything wrong, people can download the app without paying which is what I believe you mean in some of the responses. Рекомендуем использовать VPN. ### 1/5 — Forces you to use Apple ID *2026-01-27, version 5.9* I don’t use my Apple ID to sign into anything, except Apple. I was super excited when I downloaded this app, and then I found out that you can not get past the first screen unless you sign in with your Apple ID. There is no option for a different email or a username, just Apple ID or nothing. I chose nothing, and immediately deleted the app. It’s disappointing, but if the developer was so closed-minded with their user sign-in, then the app experience probably wouldn’t be that great anyway. No one wants an app that screams “My way or the highway” on the first screen. ### 1/5 — Pay or nothing *2025-11-25, version 5.9* The app won’t even let you try the alphabet without making you pay. And it won’t let you have a free trial without agreeing to pay monthly. Of course you can cancel, but why would I even consider buying an app that I can’t even try anything for free. Please just be honest, it’s not hard. Response to developer 1: if someone has to give you their card information to then receive the “free” week again it’s not free. Free under any sales understanding would mean there is nothing someone has to do in order to receive said product or service. 2: not all subscriptions work like this, in fact many provide the free week first or limited features of the app and then require payment to continue forward. You on the other hand require payment information and a confirmation of purchase of said subscription to receive the “free” week. Which then at that point they could cancel anytime to not be charged. 3: deception doesn’t always involve a lie, it can involve trickery which leads people to believe one thing and in actuality you are saying another. At no point in your app description do you mention this. You mention how someone will be charged once in the subscription but not any of the other important details of this process. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Fantastic app for learning Hebrew! *2026-06-25, version 5.14* This app teaches both ancient and modern Hebrew. There are tons of flashcards, quizzes, lessons etc. that are fun and easy to understand. The app is very easy to navigate, as well. А значит недоступно для слабовидящих и всех старше 40 лет, тк с возрастом развивается дальнозоркость…. Очень обидно! В предыдущих версиях таких ошибок в алгоритме не было…. **Developer response:** Текст на кнопках с ответами достаточно крупный - мы уже увеличивали его по просьбе пользователей. Если вы используете дополнительное увеличение шрифтов во всех приложениях это, конечно, может вызывать проблемы - никто не знает как именно вы измените шрифт чтобы предусмотреть все возможные варианты.
