I am trying the free parts of this application and find them inspiring. I would recommend this to anyone starting to learn a new language as there are so many things to start with. If you like what you are achieving, then a move to the next level is easy and even more inspiring.

Excellent app. If you are wanting to learn Indonesian but feel that you don't have the time then it is good to have this on the ipad. Can just casually learn a dozen or so words in a spare 20 minutes. Love the feature that you can build your own word list of the ones you always forget and test yourself on that. The challenge of trying to get all the flashcards right gets you hooked and activates that learning part of your brain. After learning the words you can then move on to looking and listening to then being used in sentences. Could definitely be improved with more information about the unique Indonesian prefixes and basic grammar. Some simple high use words also seem to be missing. But you can't go wrong for eight bucks. It's what i would spend on cardboard and a texta just to make similar flash cards - and they wouldn't even say the word to me!

I love the flash cards.  I like that you can really customize things to what works best for you. The audio is great.  There seems to be a lot of vocabulary. This isn't good for grammar (so far anyway) but for vocabulary, it's fantastic.

Finding the program good for new vocabulary but some notes on grammar would be a big help. Why and when to use suffixes and prefixes and how to work out tense. Also the formal and informal words and when to use them.

This app is very useful for those people who speak the language, but are not in the country & need something to keep them thinking, hearing and talking about it. However, for beginners it is only partly useful as some of the words chosen are obscure & rarely used. Also the sample sentences are too formal, not reflecting 'real' Indonesian. On the positive side, the daily alert is a great reminder to do SOMETHING in the language & the recordings are very clear.

-NEW: you asked for it. You got it! You can now have multiple custom word lists in your Word Bank. Take control of organizing your study sessions. Wondering where your old Word Bank went? Don't worry. Your existing Word Bank will be moved to the new Starred word list. If you have an iCloud account, all of your custom lists and your Starred list will be backed up to iCloud and synced across your devices.
-NEW: add a word to one of your custom word lists by tapping on the new "Add to List" button on the word detail screen. You can also quickly add a word to the Starred list by tapping on the Star icon in the upper right.
-NEW: a beautiful new user interface
-NEW: it's now much easier to review words you're having trouble with! when you mark flashcards as wrong, they'll now be automatically added to a new flashcard deck called "Missed words."
