## What is Learn Indonesian Pro?

Most Indonesian courses teach you a language nobody actually speaks. You learn "Apa kabar?" — then arrive in Jakarta and hear "Gimana?" instead.

LearnIndonesian teaches both: the formal Indonesian you need for work, documents, and respect — and the everyday Indonesian people really use with friends and family. You'll always know which one fits the moment.

A CURRICULUM, NOT A WORD LIST

Seven levels mapped to CEFR (A1–C2), following the STANDARD framework used to teach Indonesian as a foreign language. Each level builds on the last across all four skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. You unlock the next level by finishing the one before it — the way a language is actually learned.

AFFIXES TAUGHT AS PATTERNS

Indonesian builds meaning with prefixes and suffixes: me-, -kan, -i, ke-an, ber-, pe-. Memorizing individual words gets you nowhere. Learn the patterns and thousands of words open up at once. Every pattern comes with examples and practice.

FORMAL VS SLANG, SIDE BY SIDE

A dictionary that shows you both registers of every word, with example sentences for each — so you know when "tidak" fits and when "nggak" does.

Record yourself reading dialogue lines and get scored on how closely you match. Recordings are checked and immediately discarded.
