Bought a new IPad and the word library transferred without any issues which is great. The app shows and says the words as well as allows to record how I say the words and compare. However, below words are sentences, which sometimes don’t match, such that the word, is not the one in the sentence below it. The words in the word bank, don’t allow me to press n the speaker to hear the pronunciation or the sentences, there are some words repeated. If you go to a lesson you can hear the pronunciation, but not all the words are there. In the 1200+ words I have, there are many of the parts of the body, but in the body lesson there are far less parts. It says £9.99 for an upgrade, and with all these issues I won’t pay! If it was half the price I might think about it, but it really, really needs the bugs fixed! Shame that a good idea is not invested in to make it worth it ### 4/5 — Sample Sentences *2016-10-12* One of my favorite features was Word of the Day with the Sample Sentences. Customer support was very helpful but in the end I had to reinstall the app and now at the beginning again repeating words already learned. Flash cards don't work as well as on other intro apps. Went to genius bar, reset, and restored ipad. Still doesnt work. Crashes on startup. ### 1/5 — Awesome Vocabulary Learning Tool (revised) *2015-04-22* (Revision based on April 2015 update) This app used to work great. Then the update in April 2015 came. Now my daily words do not come over, even when I have a notification of a new word, the app keeps requiring additional downloads for multimedia files and it just appears glitchy. Hope the fix it soon. I really enjoy this app as a vocabulary building tool. I love the flashcards; and the ability to repeat daily the previously learned words helps lock them into memory. The only reason this app did not get a 5-star rating is the flashcard option for random order causes the app to crash. Basic words most people know but do we really need to be told words like: no, Berlino for Berlin, autobus, calendario, CD for CD, jogging, manager, computer, zebra, ketchup, parco, ornitorinco for platypus. The list goes on. Please let us have some words we can use and not the exact English word. ### 1/5 — Needs to have Disclosure on using your data plan *2012-03-21, version 3.2* i woke up this morning and there was this message on my phone to update to the full version. Who the heck are they to use my data time without my knowledge. I think that any company that does this SHOULD be made to put their HIDDEN feature in there information so as to give full disclosure of their product. I have deleted this app and will NOT use any of their apps in the future, good or otherwise. ### 1/5 — Useless and worthless. *2011-10-24* I did everything what they say about opening a new account twice, but still I can't get in. Will be deleting it. ### 1/5 — BAD upgrade-My word bank was erased! *2011-06-13, version 3.0.1* I have enjoyed this app and have found it efficient though quite stingy on the words. Basically, a new word is "given" to you every day. If you forget to download it, you miss that chance. But I had been quite devoted, downloading almost every day and accruing a large list of words (200 to 300) and then I upgraded-my ENTIRE list vanished overnight.
