## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Sounds

*2012-03-02*

It needs like when you press a word it says how to say it and not really an app disappointed

### 1/5 — Really?

*2011-05-15*

It wont work! I tap something and nothing happens!!!!! Non mi piace!'

### 1/5 — Rubbish! Don't buy!

*2010-11-02*

I purchased this 'app' to learn some vocabulary for my upcoming trip to Italy. It is not worth the money, I wouldn't even want it if it was free! It is just a lot of plain writing, barely an app but some pages with Italian and English translations. It is pointless and hard to use and has very small font. Even though you can zoom in it takes far too much effort and is very confusing to read in it's context. There are Italian phrase books far better than this and they are free! Don't make the same mistake I did, this was a waste of time and money!

### 1/5 — Useful pocket reference

*2010-03-10*

The application is a very useful grammar reference.

Unfortunately the content is not laid out very well and sometimes the last line of a paragraph will be on the following page. It would also be useful to be able to skip to the section directly instead of having to page through to get there.

### 1/5 — Worst ever

*2010-02-16*

Horrible

### 1/5 — Review

*2010-02-03*

Just a PDF of basic Italian. No audio or interaction.

Poor for an app.

### 1/5 — Learn Italian

*2009-11-14*

Had I seen and read the previous review I wouldn't have purchased. This app is only a PDF file. :(

### 2/5 — No go to! No good!

*2009-11-15*

There is no 'go to' link. This book has to be read page by page. This is not how a reference book is used.

So until the hyper links are installed. Keep your money in your pocket.

The information is good although there is some of the advertised content missing, (Apple please investigate).

### 2/5 — Learnitalian

*2009-10-26*

Simple format and info, but needs to have easier access to chapters w/o scrolling thru entire book, page by page. Not worth the $.

### 2/5 — No search function

*2009-10-23*

Content is acceptable but there is no search function or ability to hypertext from the table of contents.

## Most praised reviews (7 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Very good app

*2010-07-21*

The app is realy good but with experiance the way to pronounce it is a bit differant to what you might already know, but the app is a very good starting point for first timers.

### 5/5 — Excellent learning tool

*2009-11-27*

This app gives all of the information you would find in normal Italian 1, 2, and 3 courses at a school. It doesn't give many examples, but it is still incredibly helpful. It is the best app I have found to learn Italian so far. If you can learn a language without a plethora of examples then this app has the best content, especially at such a low price.

### 4/5 — Very helpful

*2011-01-26*

This app is excellent in terms of teaching Italian in a factual and comprehensive manner, however it is annoying that it is in textbook form and that you can't even copy or print any of it, as there is only an 'email' function. People should stop complaining though, and be thankful that they've managed to aquire a fantastic grammar and vocabulary guide for under £2. Language never used to be learnt through touch screen games, so there is no reason that a "boring" format should put people off.

### 4/5 — Wow!

*2011-01-18*

This is an amazing app! It gives you the everything you need to learn basic Italian. If you're looking to become fluent, don't buy. But it's amazing for picking up the basics! But the only things preventing me from giving it 5 stars is that it should be able to skip to a page, and that there should be a small quiz to quiz yourself on knowledge. Otherwise it's great.

### 4/5 — So tight

*2009-11-09*

This app is very usefull, Its almost like taking an Italian course right on your phone

### 3/5 — It's ok

*2010-08-10*

The app is a 40-something page PDF rather than a true app

### 3/5 — Useful App -- but missing the last three Sections

*2009-11-05*

Just downloaded this app and already I can see that it's a good and very helpful one. However it's missing the last three areas: Possessive Pronouns, The Farm, and Historical Past. There are 48 pages but after the 48th page, you can keep clicking 'next' and the pages numbers go up but the content stays the same. I think it's really useful, but I would like to have those last three above-mentioned sections, since they were supposed to be part of the set.

Gave it a three instead of a higher rating because of the missing information.

Is there any way to get them? Possessive pronouns, especially, would be really useful!

Nevertheless -- Good investment though, plenty of review knowledge on the other pages.

And, would be nice to have a "Go to page ..." button if I, or anyone, wanted to study a particular page. Instead of having to flick forward or backward to a desired page. Have gone to support and sent email re the missing sections. Hopefully will be able to come back and revise rating! :D
