I got this app to use the Word of the Day feature, but 90% of the time, it gives me an English word in an Indian accent. Today’s word was highlighter, which is apparently pronounced “hailayttar.” Knowing that adds absolutely no value to my life. 1. I know how to say English words in an Indian accent. 2. Why would I need to use the word highlighter in Malayalam anyway? 

It would be way more useful to focus on words that are needed in everyday language, related to family, food, or travel for example. 

To be honest, at this point I’m keeping the app for entertainment purposes, but I don’t expect to learn anything from it.
