Excellent app for improving music skills while homeschooling! Learn music notes and sight-reading using real instruments like piano, guitar, violin, or your own voice! You can also use buttons with note names or a virtual piano keyboard.

Great educational app for beginners or kids studying music, playing an instrument (piano, guitar, violin), or singing!
- colors help to associate sounds with notes names
- every correct answer is rewarded with smiling kitten
- session summary let you control your kids' progress
- hints mode and music flashcards are very helpful for kids that discourage easily

Privacy note. We are aware this app is often used by music schools and teachers so we don't collect any data (even for analytics), and the app doesn't use 3rd party libraries.

Listen to the piano sound when tapping buttons or keyboard (device's input) so you can hear selected notes and build your perfect ear skills when sight-reading practice.

This app will help you learn music notes and sight-reading in just a few days! Set your daily goal and use the app's timer to stay on track. 

Customize your exercises, for example by selecting only music notes that you have problems to sight-read. This way you will quickly learn how to read music. Beginners can start with level 1 and level 2, which teach only notes on lines or between lines. 

If you don't recognize the note, simply swipe the screen to see the music flashcard with note name.

When playing the guitar or singing select sound source icon (guitar or male voice) for note transposition (guitars are transposed instruments and are noted an octave higher than they sound).

When you are playing the piano you can adjust the sensitivity of the microphone to filter out background sounds and noises.

This app is your sight reading tutor! It's the best music teacher's helper! Your students will learn notes with virtual music flashcards in just a few days!

This App works ok if you’re wanting to use the on screen keyboard but the Mic function is definitely not reliable. I’ve tried two different keyboards and neither work consistently regardless of the settings. Such a shame, as if it could detect MIDI it would be perfect.

I just started the program for my daughter and she’s ok, with it she will like it more if you could play piano on it.

**Developer response:** I'm so happy your daughter likes the app! We made it a while ago to help our daughter learn musical notes. 
I don't know what you mean by "play piano on it." In the settings section, you can choose your input method—buttons with letters or a piano keyboard. When you turn on the microphone, you can play the answer on your instrument or even sing it. Just remember to set the correct transposition and adjust the microphone sensitivity in the settings.

I tested out the free one and liked it. From reading the details, I thought the pro has more options like adjusting the time, increasing the difficulty level and others things but it’s exactly the same as the free version!
