Then there were the slightly passive aggressive prompts it gives you to keep going… it was fun to start with, but I got pretty tired of it after a while! But this app, it just seems to teach you in the way a child would be taught a language, slowly… working on the basics first and really building a solid understanding. Also each section gives you the opportunity to review and listen to all the words, which is super helpful, especially if you only have a moment to spare. On top of all that, it’s completely free… it’s a no lose situation! I strongly recommend this app to anyone who wants to learn Norwegian. Some vocabulary not found in Duo. Loses 2 stars for occasional incorrect translation (ex. calls fingernail [negl] the word for nails hit by hammers [spiker], square (shape) [kvadrat] by word for town square [torg] and orange (fruit) appelsin by the color orange (oransje). Verb forms are also not quite right (or at least inconsistent). The interface is clunky (font sizes, can only hear some things 1x, always starts at top of lesson list, etc). Overall, not my first choice but it does do some thing Duo doesn’t. An OK tool to have in the box. **Developer response:** Hello!
