Used to be a fantastic study tool but now it's useless. PLEASE FIX ASAP I HAVE ORGANIC CHEM TESTS TO TAKE AND I WANT MY FAVORITE STUDY AID BACK!!! **Developer response:** We’ve not been able to replicate this issue, however it could be a problem with cached user data interfering with the update. Try deleting and reinstalling the app: 1 Tap and hold the app until it jiggles. 2 Tap the “x” on the app. 3 Press the Home button. 4 Go to the App Store and download the app again. 5 Wait for the app to download, then open it from the Home screen. Now it crashes whenever I open it. The quizzes are great.... The first time you take one. The questions do not change giving you an extremely limited amount of compounds you may be expected to name. I’m in my first semester of Organic Chemistry and was struggling with naming. The app includes great info for identifying and naming/numbering all the functional groups. It also includes practice problems and detailed explanations if you get the answer wrong, AND links you to an appropriate Wikipedia page if you want to learn more. Exactly what I need *2012-08-23, version 1.1* To prepare for the PCAT, I'm attempting to learn the essentials of Organic Chemistry before taking the class. The Nomenclature apps were hands down, 5 stars, the best apps I've ever purchased. It's the best $3.98 ($1.99 x 2 apps) I've ever spent. I love how it taught the material in easy to understand language, then quizzed me to reinforce it. The app on reactions, also great, didn't teach the material. Seemingly, it should be used as a tool to enforce concepts previously learned in class. Thus, it didn't help me understand the reactions. I humbly request an app on reactions that brakes down the concepts as so masterfully done with the nomenclature app. ### 5/5 — Great Ap! *2012-03-01* Great ap. No other means of contacting developer. Can you fix the alcohols. IUPAC requires infix propan-2-ol but the ap uses prefixes. Otherwise great. Thank you. I love Chemistry, but OChem is still difficult. Once I got the nomenclature down, I was able to understand other material.
