### 5/5 — Love it but...

*2010-06-16, version 0*

I love this app its great but I have a sugustion it sounds like this person knows Spanish well so we should be able to type in a word or name and with voice they tell us how to say it. I'm in love with it but I hope u will make an update with my sugusetion! ;)

### 5/5 — Muy bien

*2010-04-03, version 0*

I take Spanish class as a sophmore in high school and these are all words I have learned or am learning. If anything it was good to refresh the memory. It would be nice for some more catagories like maybe family, parts of the body, illness with treatment and advice, clothes and add a funny one like insults or jokes. Haha great app and u can't beat free :-)

### 5/5 — Great App!!!

*2010-01-05, version 0*

Great when starting to learn a language ! Buy the extensions to the languages you enjoy as well!! I plan on buying every extension because I'm learning every language currently and I'm going to purchase the Russian language pack as well!!! Great app!!! :) :)

### 5/5 — I learned a lot from this!

*2009-12-29, version 0*

I love this app and how it even teaches you questions, but it is hard to learn every word. I like this app but it would be better if it set the priorties for you and if it just had a better structure. Overall great app! Definately worth getting! :P

### 5/5 — Grandioso!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*2009-12-20, version 0*

This app ROCKS for those of you learning Spanish. A great complement for this app is Free SpanishDict for other random words you need to know. The best part about this tutor is the voice pronunciation along with the spelling. SpanishDict offers some similar features so you get double the benefit. If you want to start with the basics- these two totally rock!! Sorry Rosetta Stone. FREE apps works for now =;op~

### 5/5 — Great Free App!!!

*2009-12-18, version 0*

Honestly, for being a free app, this is excellent!!! My kids are taking Spanish in school & this has really come in handy for their homework. I also let them play "Match and Learn" to practice their Spanish while they have fun. I really love bilingual apps!

### 5/5 — Great App

*2009-11-24, version 0*

Easy to learn, and user friendly. Only things I want is the option to choose the type of voice that says the words, as it would help you pronuonce them better. (If ur a girl, it would probably be better hearing the words spoken by a girl with a soft voice, and vice versa.) Also, more words plz.

### 5/5 — Really Good !!!!!!

*2009-11-04, version 0*

This is a really great app and it's free!!! I'm trying to learn some Spanish and French for my trip to Europe next year and this is so helpful. I've always found it very difficult to learn other languages and I'm really amazed how quickly I'm progressing using this app.

The key feature of this app is the use of several different types of quiz methods to help you remember new words and phrases. Some of the quizes are more like games and this makes it more fun to use. So many other learning apps are rather boring, making it hard to stay interested. This app however, actually makes it kind of entertaining to study the language.

Another nice feature of this app is the native speaker audio, which helps you learn how to pronounce the words correctly. You can repeat the audio as many times as you need to get it right.

This app is really one of the most useful free programs in the app store. Thanks a lot!!!

### 5/5 — Helpful and Interactive

*2009-09-05, version 0*

This is a terrific app! It's very interactive and uses a series of quizes and games to teach you the language. I'm amazed how much I've learned already. I've tried other ways to learn Spanish but most are so boring that I lose interest after a short time. This app actually makes it fun.

I really like the way you can hear the Spanish spoken as many times as you need to get it right. The ability to track your progress via the scoring system is also good.

### 5/5 — Useful and Fun

*2009-08-26, version 0*

This app is really good. It not only helps me learn the language but is fun as well. It has a bunch of different ways to learn ... simple list, multiple choice, a hangman-like puzzle game, write in translation and a flash card function with optional automatic sequencing.

The audio is available in every quiz/game and it's a real Spanish speaking person, not one of those awful sounding synthesized voices. A score can be recorded at the end of a quiz, letting you keep track of your progress. This is really important to me because I need some kind of metric showing what has been accomplished.

This app really does a lot, especially considering it's free.

### 5/5 — Perfect! 

*2009-07-30, version 0*

I've been taking Spanish for a while at school and every summer I always forget the little things (which always matter most). This is the perfect app to help my brain not rot! I love it! Even though I know almost everything, it keeps me from forgetting the things I would otherwise forget. Great app! !!!

### 1/5 — This app is the worst

*2023-08-27*

😒 booooooo

### 1/5 — Stopped working with update to 9.3.3 for me

*2016-07-28, version 8.3.2*

Icon says it is waiting.
It was an almost 5 star intro for me.

### 1/5 — Not very good.

*2009-05-10, version 0*

This application was not what I expected. It's user interface was lacking, and there was no excitment. In other apps I have used for this purpose, they let you keep track of your progress. In one, you can see how many words you have learned. It knows this because it only says you know a word after you have gotten it correct on 5 quizzes over a span of 5 days. This app doesn't quite do it for me. I suggest passing ok this one.

### 3/5 — Ok, but boring

*2011-06-05, version 3.6.8*

I'm twelve and this summer after schools out I'm taking a Spanish class so I hoped this would give me a good start. I know several phrases and enough to navigate around in a Spanish speaking country and find basic things, but it's deathly boring. It's just memorization, really. Only get it if you want to learn a few phrases to get ahead in a class. It doesn't cover verbs, nouns that change ( like snowing and snowed) and grammar.

### 4/5 — This is works very well

*2011-10-13, version 3.6.8*

If your sound doesn't work then you won't be able to pronounce the word right but other than that this works great i practice a hour a day and I'm getting really good, there's not a bunch of words but it's a good amount of words and phrases to start out with. And it keeps track of how well you do so you will try to bet your old score it works great please if you want to lean this is the app to start out with !!!

### 4/5 — Good for a month

*2011-08-23, version 3.6.8*

The full versions are really expensive and would rather buy a book that will teach me than those, but this is different. It has good memorizations and some good practices, but it goes by fast after a month I had everything memorized. So good just not for a while like most free things

### 4/5 — It works! 

*2011-06-28, version 3.6.8*

I got this app after I got an F- in Spanish Class and on my next test (2 days later) I got a B+ but you also have to memorize this stuff and its not that fun but fun enough to want to keep going on to learn espanol. Esta Consada y adios! ( Now i just have to work on spelling in spanish) plus this has sound when you touch the word on study list.

### 4/5 — Almost perfect!

*2011-04-20, version 3.1.2*

I love the app. It makes it fun to learn i really wish it had a place to add our own words. If they added that feature it would be perfect! I hope the right person will read this suggestion.

To those who say the sound doesn't work... Check to make sure your phone ringer is on. I had mine on vibrate and it didn't work for me either. When I turned the ringer on, it worked perfectly and very clearly.

### 4/5 — Great way to get started!

*2011-04-06, version 3.1.2*

This free app has over 100 common phrases, questions, vocabulary used for food and places, plus common vocabulary opposites. Not a translator for everything under the sun, but I've spent hours learning a lot of useful Spanish. It's fun having different modes to learn what is presented. And I've already learned a ton about pronunciation and basic sentence structure and common phrases. Pretty darn good for a free app.

### 4/5 — Needs Grammar

*2009-09-13, version 0*

For students like myself who have this application, there needs to be grammar because in school it's not just vocabulary that needs be known because that would be much to easy! So for vocabulary this application is incredible but I think and oretry much know that there needs to be some grammar and other stuff not just vocabulary so please listen to me you would make aclot more money off of students like me who need grammar where as like right now I'm not going to spend eight dollars on the real one for more of this but I would pay that price or even a littl bit more I the was grammar. Thatnk you and I hope that you will add GRAMMAR AND OTHER STUFF SOON!!!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — It's amazing

*2013-08-06, version 5.0.1*

I have been using this app for awhile and I've already learned more Spanish than my brothers, and they've been taking Spanish online for about maybe a year!!!! Thank you so much! I thought I should've wrote a review since you've done so much for me!

### 5/5 — Two thumbs 👍👍

*2012-10-01, version 4.2.4*

In my first semester of 9th grade, I had Spanish two. Now in tenth grade, I'll be having Spanish 3 in second semester. So I'll end up having an entire year of no Spanish. Even now when I just got it I can tell it is going to be a great way to get back in shape!!

### 5/5 — Love it!! !! :) :)

*2012-06-18, version 4.2.4*

I am starting Spanish next year, so it will be great to just go on my iPad and study!! I want to keep up my 4.0 for every year. I think this will be a huge help for next year. Even if you are not fluent in Spanish , or don't know that much, then you should still get this!! Great!! Telling all of my friends about it!! !! :) :)

### 5/5 — Loved it

*2012-02-05, version 3.6.8*

I learned not a whole lot but the basics and it was free and fast and easy!! :-)
Even though I'm small I like to learn and soak in all of this great information to get ahead. I now no how to speak some Spanish, German, and Chinese.
I love knowing I can make new friends from other places as long as I have these 24/7 tutor apps.

### 5/5 — Spanish24/7

*2011-08-18, version 3.6.8*

Hey people out there who want to get this app i just want to say this a great app I am Cuban but I only know a little Spanish but now I know some words and I hope to go to Florida to speak Spanish and communicate with my family I also purchased the Chinese and French one

### 5/5 — Spanish App Must Have

*2011-08-01, version 3.6.8*

This app was the one that got me started in speaking fluent Spanish. When others say it is boring or just memorization they are right it is memorization. Boring it isn't the games are fun and challenging and you have to constantly work it until you know it instantly. If you keep at it you will know the basics of Spanish and build more knowledge off of it. I got the free 24/7 for French, Italian and Portuguese now I know a liitle bit from each.I preach the gospel to everyone I meet about how I learned Spanish in less than 2 years and I tell them it all started with the free 24/7 Spanish App.

### 5/5 — Helpful

*2011-05-24, version 3.6.8*

Downloaded this along with many others to help with my spanish course.
Found this one and an app named numbers to be the only ones worth using.
For free this one is great.
Wish the upgrade version was more extensive.

### 5/5 — LOVE IT!!

*2011-04-17, version 3.1.2*

This app is great. I downloaded it thinking "oh it's free, I'll give it a try" and then within a week i was spitting out Spanish words like different foods and utensils at lunch and all of my friends were confused. So I told them what I was saying in Spanish. This really is great

### 5/5 — Greeeat!

*2010-08-24, version 0*

The app is a wonderful vocabulary builder!! The only thing is I wish you had the option to add in your own Spanish words so that you can study the same way, but with words that you may need to learn for a test or any other reason! Other than that great app!!!

### 5/5 — Much better than I'd hoped for!

*2010-07-19, version 0*

The app is really easy to use & has a ton of helpful options. As an ESL teacher, I highly recommend it! I don't understand why reviewers are saying it needs phrases - I didn't have any trouble at all finding & practicing phrases with this app
