For example, “Estamos gastando mucho dinero” is translated as “We are spending too much money” — but that would be “Estamos gastando demasiado dinero”. “We are spending much money” would be accurate, or even “We are spending a lot of money”. This sort of casual inaccuracy is apparent far too often. And I will echo the comments of others who point out that having the completed sentence spoken aloud would make this app a far more effective learning tool. Thanks for your interest. ### 2/5 — Good game, but ads even after paying for full version *2019-02-20* I like the game, it’s been a fun way to review Spanish vocabulary and verbs. But, I do think there are some things that could be added to make the game better. Such as seeing the phrases you did poorly on again, or having some kind of extra reward for doing well on a puzzle. I feel like if I do perfectly or just barely get it the reward is the same. Overall I think it could have more video game like experience. Still, I would recommend it. Update (2/20/19) Argh! Now the new hint button makes me watch ads to get a hint. I spent $10 and I have to watch ads! Not cool. (btw, Language learning ...with no way to review previous phrases? La mayor parte de frases son de este estilo, nada útiles para su uso en conversación. Do not let your kids use this app. They ruined a good learning tool. **Developer response:** We assure you there are no sexually explicit cartoons in the app, and we have all sensitive ad categories blocked. Please send us a screenshot of what you are referring to. ### 1/5 — Bad Spanish *2019-03-22, version 1.2* I am a native Spanish speaker and decided to give it a shot out of curiosity just to find out during my second exercise a phrase that doesn’t make any sense in Spanish: “There’s no card in this camera” wrongly translated as “No hay tarjeta en esta cámara de fotos”... I was like what the fudge! That does not make any sense. A correct translation would be “Esta cámara no tiene tarjeta” (you’re welcome). Sorry guys.
