### 4/5 — Ollie

*2026-03-19, version 34.80*

Like the app but it doesn’t teach full sentences more just words but still great !

### 4/5 — This is quite fun

*2025-10-10*

I like this a lot even though I just started. It’s helped me learn many more practical words than something like Duolingo.

### 4/5 — Good so far

*2025-10-04, version 34.80*

it’s teaching me and I’m kind of confident

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2025-08-14, version 34.80*

Amazing I can now try to learn Swedish

### 5/5 — Great language learning tool

*2025-07-20, version 34.80*

I’ve used the Icelandic version previously, finding it to be one of the best out there and is completely usable without spending a penny. The Swedish app appears more up to date than its Icelandic counterpart, but still has all the features that made it work so well

### 5/5 — Fun way to learn a language

*2025-06-08, version 34.80*

Love how food is the first topic and get to choose if you want to pay or just access the free content first before paying for extra ad ons etc,. Thank you

### 4/5 — so good

*2025-05-23, version 34.80*

i've been using duolingo for my swedish lessons but it hasn't helped me, this app is so much more helpful because it's more engaging. the 5 min time is a bit short tho, i'd love it if they had 10 maximum

### 5/5 — BEST APP EVER

*2025-03-27, version 34.80*

I learn so quickly faster then Duolingo

### 5/5 — Super fun!

*2025-03-27, version 34.80*

It feels more like a game than studying but you learn!!

### 5/5 — Like the app!

*2025-03-17, version 34.80*

I like the simplicity of the program game like structure!

### 5/5 — Fun

*2025-02-04, version 34.80*

Hej! This and Duolingo, paired with a good course will make you fluent for sure.

### 5/5 — Very fun way to learn! This is underrated

*2025-01-28, version 34.80*

Better than DUOLINGO

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2025-01-11, version 34.80*

### 5/5 — Good

*2024-12-07, version 34.80*

It’s helping day one

### 5/5 — Отличное приложение для пополнения словарного запаса

*2024-09-30*

Лучшее из известных мне приложений для изучения слов. Drops не помогает с изучением грамматики, но программа быстро и эффективно пополняет словарный запас.
Единственный минус: в шведском языке у каждого существительного есть артикль (en или ett), который крайне важен при использовании слов в речи, но приложение дает существительные без артиклей. Приходится узнавать их отдельно.

### 4/5 — Review

*2024-09-06*

Its good to learn like a game

### 4/5 — Bonne application

*2024-08-25*

Très bon moyen d’apprendre… peut-être que sur la durée la rapidité des nouveaux mots peuvent-être compliquer

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — UI is blocked by notch on iphone 12

*2022-06-22*

That, and also just 5 minutes per day which seems ridiculous

### 2/5 — Good for vocab I guess.

*2024-11-18*

I used this app for about a year, and learned a lot of helpful words and vocabulary. However when I started using Swedish conversationally with my mormor I realized I had no knowledge of sentence structure, contextualizing pronouns, or almost any grammar. It’s possible that this stuff is part of the premium subscription, but you shouldn’t have to pay for something that other language learning platforms will do for free.

Please just look for in-person classes or coaching, you will learn so much more and much quicker. I promise the awkwardness of speaking like a 3 year old to another full-grown adult will be bearable after a bit. If you have to use an app, use Duolingo. I also listen to Swedish music to help track my progress based on how much of the song I understand (if you’re into punk, I’d recommend Vet Hut, Trubbel, and Lastkaj 14).

### 2/5 — no good

*2021-11-18*

Vocab apps are pointless without the plural and article forms for nouns and tenses for verbs

### 2/5 — Not so great

*2021-06-13, version 34.80*

An app focused on teaching vocabulary, rather than emerging a learner in a language. The learning methods feel like gimmicks. Also the time limit makes it difficult to continue progressing at a steady pace.

Having said that, it could be used as a way to expand one’s vocabulary in addition to other methods of language learning, but only as a supplement.

### 2/5 — Drops

*2020-05-14, version 29.14*

I’m having fun learning words but I’m not learning to link them into a sentence.

### 2/5 — Good

*2020-01-23, version 29.14*

Decent

### 3/5 — Pretty good

*2026-04-08, version 34.80*

From just the first lesson i feel I’ve learnt a few vocabulary words pretty well

### 3/5 — Forced to sign up

*2025-01-29, version 34.80*

I’m forced to sign up. I don’t want that. You obviously can’t use this app without registration and it’s way too expensive.

### 3/5 — Swedish beginner

*2023-02-03*

Great easy way to learn and good range of free options.

### 3/5 — Good!

*2021-07-12*

I wish we didn’t have to pay around $60 to use the app for more than 5 minutes BUT, I learned around 8 new words around that short time, it was very easy and fun!

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2026-01-05*

Was easy and fun five minutes a day and I. Five days you could know twenty words, almost better than Duolingo!

### 5/5 — Perfect

*2025-12-28*

They go slow for beginners and go back to words and review over and over it is very good for anyone who has never spoken Swedish.

### 5/5 — I love the way it teaches you

*2025-12-21, version 34.80*

amazing

### 5/5 — SUPA AWESOME

*2025-12-10, version 34.80*

PEAKKKK

### 5/5 — Incredible, didnt expect it

*2025-09-28, version 34.80*

The 5 minute a day limit helps you stop overdoing your learning, maximising your memory of the lesson and makes you keen to learn more.
It has a forgiving system for streaks and is overall very understanding.
It has a very nice interface and the learning is very engaging.
I am surprised it is free, it is incredible and i highly recommend it to anyone wanting to learn Swedish, even if you find it difficult to learn new languages i guarantee this will help with both spelling, pronunciation, and memory.
