Great for learning to sound out words and learning to read. Organized really well and the game component makes it fun! ### 5/5 — Great app *2026-09-21* My 5 year old is obsessed! He said “why did you get me this? I don’t want to stop playing!” As a parent, it’s a great blend of practicing while making it fun. I love that you have options for sounds— you can turn them on/off or let your child try it and then hear to make sure they got it right. I also love how low stim it is but still very fun and engaging! ### 5/5 — My Son Actually Asks to Play! *2026-09-01* We’ve been loving Score 4 Phonics! My son actually asks to play it after school for his “homework” because he thinks it’s a game. I love that he’s practicing his phonics and reading skills without it feeling like work. It’s engaging, easy for him to use, and has made learning something he genuinely looks forward to. Highly recommend for kids who need a fun way to build their reading skills! ### 5/5 — Playing + Learning = A Win!!! *2026-08-21* Learning to sound out words while playing a game she loves — a win for both of us! ### 5/5 — Fun and intuitive reading app *2026-08-06* My daughter and I love playing this together because it is a rewarding and fun tool for learning to read. She loves moving the slider to hear the sounds and she smiles each time she earns a star. It was easy for both of us to dive right in! **Developer response:** I love that you and your daughter are playing together in 2 Player Mode. It’s such a fun way to practice reading together. Thanks for taking the time to leave a review! ### 5/5 — Love it! *2026-08-06* I love how this app specifically focuses on phonics and learning to sound out words. The game aspect makes reading practice fun! ### 5/5 — Incredible for dyslexic 8 year old *2026-08-06* Can not believe how much my 8 year old with dyslexia and dysgraphia loves this learning game! It’s been incredible for us- it’s engaging and the game side is “fun” without being too overwhelming/ overstimulating. The way it teaches blending is so wonderful! ### 5/5 — Speech Practice Made Fun *2026-08-01* Such a great way to make speech practice fun for kids! The activities make it easy for children to practice sounding out words and building their speech skills, but the game format keeps it from feeling like work. It’s a really nice mix of learning and play! **Developer response:** Thank you so much! My goal with Score 4 Phonics is to make practicing early reading skills feel fun. ### 5/5 — A great reading app! *2026-07-29* We love this app! It makes it fun for my son(6) to learn to read! He likes to slide the words himself and is sounding out words and repeating after sliding. He’s connecting the sounds with the letters and is starting to read words on his own. This works!! He said, “I like how it helps me read , I like the game and I don’t care if I lose or win because it’s a good game “ **Developer response:** Thank you so much for sharing this! I love hearing that he is beginning to connect letter sounds, blend words, and read more independently. I especially love that he’s having so much fun that he doesn’t even mind whether he wins or loses! --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
