When I want to open this program, it closes quickly.

Ok I’m Australian and I just wanted to know what an app teaching someone to speak English would be like but it came to my mind that when I opened the app and clicked ‘learnt the basics’ it was the word and then the definition but all written in English. How is someone learning English meant to read ‘abbreviation’.i looked for settings to see if that could be changed and was unable to find any. I’m not sure if I was looking in the wrong place but if there is a settings button please make it more obvious

The format of the app is well done, but some of the content is inappropriate: cursing, innuendo, and disrespectful communication examples.  Certainly not appropriate for teaching proper English.

I like the fact that it’s easy to switch from one topic to another even on a phone.
I’m not worried of being on internet in order for me to learn English language with TalkEnglish. 
This app is really a perfect antidote for my English.
